As far as permissions go, I'm not exactly worried about that at this point. I've been modding GR for about eight years and have never released any of my work. It's mostly for personal use, although sometimes in the past I would play missions I scripted with a small group of friends. Maybe I'll look into publishing some of my stuff in the future, but it's not exactly a priority for me right now.
Helicopters can be a pain for sure, but if you use the right take off and flight speeds while keeping them in a straight line they are pretty manageable. I've already got the hardest part of my latest mission completed, which is of course the part involving the bird. You start off strafing an enemy supply convoy with a minigun from the helo and get surprised by a man portable SAM which downs your chopper. By carefully dispatching a few enemies with your silenced sidearm you can make your way to an enemy supply cache in which you obtain an AK. From that point you demo enemy weapons caches and finish mopping up the convoy that was your primary target then move to extract.

Thanks for the link, I'll download it and check it out. I remember seeing miniguns in the past in GR, but I haven't messed around with modding for probably two years or so and couldn't remember where I'd seen them. As far as the choppers go, they can be a pain but it's not impossible. I started playing around with choppers a little the last few days and already achieved the results I was looking for, now I just have to apply it to a mission. Thanks again for the help.

Does anyone know of a minigun model for GR? I'm looking for a minigun that can be a selected weapon rather than a fixed weapon model. The plan is to load up the Ghosts in a chopper and set their kit to the minigun. They'll do their damage from the bird, then get shot down. Once upon the groun the kit will be switched back to an M9SD simulated your weapon was lost in the crash. You need to then pick up an AK from a weapons crate and carry on with the mission. Anyhow, I just need a minigun model that isn't a fixed weapon so I can use it in the chopper, I can handle all the properties, just need the model. Thanks.

I've been using Ingeloops ACOG & Elcan reticle pack for a long time. They are by far my favorite reticles due to the level of detail/realism that went into designing them. They look very good without pips and obviously more realistic. With that being said, pips on reticles come in handy a lot during actual gameplay. I'm looking for someone who can either add pips to five or six reticles for me OR point me in the right direction to do it myself.
As of right now the reticles will be for personal use, but if I should release any of my work in the future I'll definitely include whoever helps out. This is one part of modding I've never dabbled in, so I'm clueless here. If it's easy I'll attempt doing it myself. If it requires me to dig up old programs that are almost impossible to find to accomplish this, I'd appreciate if someone could give me a hand.
I'm looking to add extremely small, black pips to a few reticles. I want the pips out of the way for the most part, I just need them there to show recoil/movement. I'll probably wind up adding them to about five or six reticles, mostly from Ingeloops pack. That reminds me, I'm also looking for two iron sight reticles that I'm sure are floating around out there somewhere. First would be the peep sight style reticle found on American weapons such as the M4, M16, M249, M240 etc. The second would be the Soviet/Russian pattern iron sights found on the AK, RPK etc.
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
