RSE only ever intended the chopper for single use, single player, insertion only. I guess they didn't want silly ole trees and mountains getting in they way of a good insertion
I don't think anyone in a chopper would want trees or mountains getting in the way.

A call is different from a loop. But they work with the same basic principles. I don't think in this case you need a call because all you should do is have the block preserve on the 30 sec trigger and use the loop. I see no need for the timer.

They slow down at about 2 m\sec I think so slow them down long before the drop point. Just have to work at it.

That is weird. Maybe your block that activates the timer goes off twice but from what you said with the 30 elapsed it shouldn't. Make sure you don't have the timer go off twice.

Have to do one counter for each actor. If you have 40 enemy actors that would be 40 blocks not related to anything in the mission. That is a lot but if you want to do it go for it.

I have seen the AI throw grenades a foot in front of themselves but that ain't what you want.

How bout some bunkers like in Vietcong.

If you wanted to do something like I thik you are trying to do you would have to use the actorfired response for each actor. That wouldn't be fun. Maybe one or two guys but not everyone.

3 mend in each I believe. I have had a few problems doing this. Sometimes they lay down like they want to go to sleep. You might have success using the vehicleloadplatoon response. You might have to use enter vehicle in a plan.

I have to agree with bkriley. If someone stole the program then they don't have the right to say something but it doesn't make it right if someone steals their material.
I personally find it disgusting when I see stolen material in a mod. Especially when that material is from a mod that is highly used and there is no reason for the mod maker to be using it. I personally saw this in a mod. It was so obvious that the weapons used in that mod where from Earl's Standard Upgrade. And if anyone says he had permission I didn't see anything anywhere saying he did. I personally I have emailed Earl about using the same work in a mod and his response was to just have the player have to have Standard Upgrade installed. I think this would have been his response for this same person who did that mod. I won't name the mod so no one can flame up and call me a liar when I know for a fact what I saw. Personally I have tried to put together a mod and I know how hard it is. There are always the possiblities to overlook some aspect of the mod, but when a person makes no effort to contact the creator that is a slap in the face of the creator and the person who downloads the mod.
It is rediculous to say a mod adds something when all it does is take something from some where else and puts it into something that person thinks they did.
Anyway I think that if this thread continues that no names nor mods be named. This might help the thread stay open.

You would probably have to edit the texture and that would get rid of all of the messages. I think it would be a good thing. That is why they have the displaymessagebox response.

This is hardly the right place for this disscusion so can we move past this outbreak and get back on topic.
If you have ever done anything for the GR community. If it was one mission or one weapon, no matter how good or how bad it was. I want to thank you for the time, effort, and the general love of the game that you put into your mod or whatever it was you did. Thank you.

I understand that and I am sorry. But I just felt like I had to have my voice heard. As do a lot of people about the topic.

I figured I would post in here because this is the correct forum and I don't think many come in here.
This is about closing a topic everytime someone says something about DA. I know that most of the time it becomes a bitter argument about who is right and who is wrong. But I think if people where given the oppurtunity to say what they feel about mod theives then the topic would close very quickly. Most people on this forum have plenty to say and most want to say something. I feel that every time one of these topics are closed or deleted then it is like saying that the theives win. They get to say there point and it only looks like a few people are against them. If we really let them have it and showed them the overwhelming number who dissapprove of the actions they took them maybe we can end the disscusion for good. I mean after all it is kind of hard for a few people to take on the whole GR community. I know that the topic would be an outrageous post with very long well thought out post. It would certainly clear the air and let them know where people stand. This topic is not about trashing someone's name or mod. It is about letting people get the voice heard. And heard by the right people. Some of the staff and moderators might disagree because that is something that they would have to read and sort out. But if we could keep it orderly with no one breaking the rules of the forum then we can handle the problem that comes out of these disscusions. Just make it clear and simple, if any major rules are broken at anytime that person will be banned from GR.net and not allowed to return. I hope this will allow people to be heard.

I think the original settings in the kit for the enemies gave them 2 clips. Sometimes maybe 3.
