I beg to differ about using support weapons against AI. I love going through missions with the stock M-60 and providing cover for my clan mates. If your playing by yourself then it is not a good idea to take it. If you are playing a SP mission then you will need all the firepower you have not to get killed. What I usually do is divide my team into a group with three one with two and one with just a sniper. I put the support guy in the team with three so at contact he has the most help. But you need to move your squad with you in order to complete the mission when you are a support player.

I think the effect you are using is explosion_small_type?. There is something wrong with that one. Try medium or large.

Try setting him to hostage or captive.

Your timer doesn't go off. You are trying to set the timer to go off in the block the timer is in. You timer can never go off because the response that tells the timer to go off isn't able to be activated.

Yes invisibility would work better than teleporting an actor. Just use the invisibility actor to make the AI on your team not fire and turn the actors AI off so he won't do anything stupid.

Argyll did a mod called SOF that is nice. You might want to try out Baja Bravo's Sabre Teams.

I have found that some effects don't do much especially the ones like effect_type2 and things like that. Try 1 or 3 and see if something happens.

You could make it server sided if you didn't create a flag and used a fire effect but that would be the poor man's version of CTF.

You can reference the player nearest to zone and then do something like the torch actor like in cat and mouse. Then if that player gets to the zone the game is won. That might be one way to do it.

Camo jpg's This may be some things you are looking for. I guess someone could make some camo from a jpg. I don't know.

First thing you don't need all the loops to stop the team plan. You should be able to get by with canceling the plan when an actor dies. Second you don't need to enable the block for loops or calls becasue it will do it all by itself.
For the MG make sure the thing isn't being obstructed by an object and make sure that you didn't turn the toggleAI box on with the plan.

I also admire how the textures of some things (like the magazines) look identical to those released with ghost recon originally.
They might look the same from far away but the are a whole different beast up close.

I wouldn't buy it for my console. But I would lay down the cash for the PC version. You just can't get the full effect that the PC version gives you with your console. I mean all the mods that have been made is what has made GR and I think that if they make GR2 for the console only that would be the biggest mistake of the business careers. But if they do they should look into saying would you like ketchup with you burger.

You could use the message boxes to do it and not add anything to the obj list. Then when it is complete just tell the player it is complete.

I don't know if you did this already but maybe you should change the detail.rsb so that the ground looks more like grass instead of sand. Those shots look great.

You can't teleport effects so he will have to stay put.

You might be able to do this by setting up a damage effect right by the actor at startup. Just place the effect and where it says Type put damage(0)(0) and check the box intially active and that might work. If you want him dead on startup.

I wish they would get away from the console Ghost Recon and focus on what they need to be focusing on. The PC version.

When a game sells almost 2 million copies I think they would make another even if it is bad just so they can get more money. But I think they will make improvements. I think it is 100%. You don't walk away from assured cash do you?

Im not sure about this but I think the enemy that see dead people get alarmed in their team. Maybe you could set something up like Death of team then set a flag and do a 1 sec elapsed block preserved with a continue if (and) platoon seen by company for value 1 and for value 2 get falg state. That might work. Then set the enemy to go crazy. If you wanted to be really great you could set up zones and when the player gets to the zone set a counter to something and have a timer go off when the alarm is raised and have a bunch of people go to the zone where the player is. It can be done with a lot of scripting but it is very fun when it works.
