Just wondering. Is it possible to have the anti-tank weapons assigned as the primary weapon instead of the secondary?

SUCCESS. Problem solved, albeit unwittingly : ) It took a while to join the dots but while looking for other content, not related to GR, I found that a number of files and folders had somehow been changed to "read only" and "hidden". I have no idea how that happened but , of course, I restored all folders. The next time I fired up GR everything worked as it should. It seems Pave Low was on the right track. Thanks heaps for all your input. Something to file away for later reference perhaps?

I'll keep logging on to the forums in future. There's some good stuff in here.

Yeah mate. Lately I've been running the game with the CD in the drive and patch 1.4 installed. The operating system seems to be working properly but I'm certainly not ruling that out as a possible cause. I'll just keep lobbing grenades in untill something floats to the surface : ) Still open to any suggestions that anyone might have.

Back again and after another uninstall, as suggested by belvucker. the problem is still there. As mentioned earlier, the problem started before any mods were installed so I have doubts as to these actually being the cause of the problem. Still, if it means more uninstalls then so be it. This really is getting annoying. Has anyone else experienced this problem before?

Game plays whether or not disc is in drive.

The mods I have include Heroes Unleashed, Frostbite 1 .2 and The Singles: Mission Mod Pack 1

These mods were downloaded AFTER the problem began.

I have un-installed/re-installed three times since problem manifested itself. Problem remains.

I do not play on-line. (I'm not that good)

If any more info required, let me know.

PS: Installed game to notebook using same disc - no problems experienced.

PPS: GRAW sucks.

Hi all. After selecting different weapons for the team members other than the defaults, these weapons are not being assigned when the mission starts. Instead, it reverts to some sought of false default which are not the original weapons. Extremely annoying when the mission requires demo charges or anti-tank, as the mission fails immediately. Any ideas on what's going on and how to fix it? Also, when restarting the mission, a completely different mission is loaded. What gives? This started happening only about a month ago. Worked fine up till then. Any suggestions/advice greatly appreciated.
