  1. You guys thought it looked good untextured, well, take a gander at this: I have no life, so, I textured it at 2 am. Added some heat guards just for fun. I like the little tag on the stock. And the Aimpoint. And the rest are just cool pics. The tape on the magazine and the stock are custom made, so they might not look quite as photo realistic as the rest of the gun. I won't take credit for the aimpoint or the RIS textures. With Para's permission, I've used the RIS textures. But Marcinko gave me the awesome aimpoint pics. I found them two hours later on my own looking for good pi
  2. Thanks. It's already almost completely textured. Just got to texture the PEQ, both rail systems, and the aimpoint. Tommorow
  3. Here's a new model that I made tonight. It is an M4 with an M16 solid stock on it. Having such a combination is a very real possibility, so please don't say "That's an SR-16 and it doesn't exist." I appreciate any comments or feedback, with the exception of the one mentioned about. Positive or negative, I don't care. At 1120 polys, and as quite a detailed model, I'm pretty amazed. I've got an awesome texture made that will do this weapon justice.
  4. Elf Name - Maeglin Coamenel Hobbit Name - Todo Bumbleroot My name's suck . ..
  5. Finally gonna see this movie. That oughta help me do the missions.
  6. Yep RS, that's exactly right. Hehe. Google's the greatest resource for the weekenders like me. Sorry RS, I'm just gonna stop now. You're hilarious buddy.
  7. Nothing like us weekend commandos to ruin someone's day. Well, I'm just gonna keep my mouth shut in this place from now on. Have a spiffy day.
  8. Cause they're not the same stuff. There's more to the subcultures then just the music. The Aquabats are great. Never heard of the other 2. DK are awesome. And exploited is too. Jello Biafra is the coolest guy ever.
  9. I'm on the debate team at my school and I can tell you that that is the lamest and most well used joke against my personality ever. Every day, it's just "Are you the master debater Brandon?" "Yep guys, that's all I do in my spare time. I master debate." Seriously, that's a real rib tickler guys . .. Ryan, try talking with people. I just found out today that my best friend (who is a girl) has low self esteem. Whoohoo.
  10. Where are the pork pies? Those are the greatest hats of all time!

I would have laughed a lot harder if one of them hard fallen down. That was actually just a really stupid stunt.
  12. That's fairly unpleasent m8. I guess no one here likes anything that's very good. All of those "branches" came from other branches. Basically, you got punk, and then about a million different subs of punk. Oi came from new york, after coming off of New York Hardcore. Very confusing.
  13. Anyone else ever listen to them? Just got hold of the cd The Best of Exploited (had to get it special ordered from the UK) I can't understand a word they say for the most time outside of the chorus, but this cd has gotten me hooked. Nothin like some good old street punk to keep your ears entertained Fav songs: 1 - Punks' not Dead 2 - Army Life 3 - ###### a Mod 4 - Alternative 5 - I still believe in Anarchy 6 - SPG 7 - What you gonna Do? 8 - Hitler's in the Charts again 9 - Sex and Violence (5 mins of three words ) 10 - Dead Cities Anyone else like street punk, ska, or o
  14. Thanks ziji. And next time, I'll think before I post anything bout my personal life. @RS Thanks for that little piece of advice. I'm pretty sure though that the vast majority of the military doesn't use 11 inch M4 Devgrus though. I don't believe everything, but many times logic dictates my mind.
  15. Very cool. Esp excited for the Ranger-3. As much as I like the desert enviroments, I've just played them so much I can't stand them for a while. Right now, I'm in a mood for jungle themed mods. Can't wait for OS and Jungle Fever.
  16. All right Cink, I'll bite. Sure, there's Marines and Army soldiers that use Cranes, but there's many other things that point to them being navy troops in that pic. 1 - The boots many of them are wearing are almost exclusive NSW issue 2 - The ballistic vests many of them are wearing are also almost exlusive NSW I refer to this pic The one on the right, wearing what I'm talking about. Now the odds that these guys are wearing and using nearly exclusive NSW gear (ie crane stock, boots, and ballistic vests) and are from another unit such as Delta are pretty slim. And, just to rei
  17. Sorry, I haven't been very active makin missions for this one Argyll. I had barely started working on the first one when I hopped on DYNACOMP, and I got the scripting team lead for that project. Then I got Max 5, paint shop pro, and photoshop 7 and well, I've been modeling and skinning my brains out since then. My christmas break starts on the 19th and then I've got 2 or 3 full weeks to do whatever I want. Perhaps then I'll get your mission done and then some major work on the mission I owe para for DYNACOMP. I'm really sorry, but I've been swamped with school work and "other" things
  18. @para, very cool. I've been enjoying those chrs for about 2 months in game.
  19. Still stubborn aren't we cink? 1st, that's specifically what they're doing. Here's the source. Tell me, do they look like they're doing security operations and protecting peoplse. And I don't know he's DEVGRU. I'm fairly sure, because if you take a look at those pics, most of the M4s are not only DEVGRU editions, but they've got the Naval Special Warfare crane stock. That of course doesn't rule out the possibility of him being on a SEAL team, or any other SOF team for that matter. Sure haven't. I was simply stating that I felt more comfortable firing the weapo
  20. I'm pretty sure it's not possible. .rsbs do not support animations. I think to do that it requires a model and 3dsmax. And since the main menu screens aren't models, I don't think it's going to happen. Unless perhaps you hack the ghostrecon.exe, which is about as illegal as you can get.
  21. Not to get into an arguement, but this picture kind of makes me wonder about your post Cink: There you have a DEVGRU operator running security for afghan officials, basically the same job as the Koreans. Perhaps they just have the suppresors on because it's something they prefer. But, let's not get into a heated debate. Personally, and I have fired an actual M4, I prefer the suppresor on. I dunno why, but I just felt a lot better shooting it when it was on.
  22. Just uncovered my some old funny things collecting dust in the back of one of my files. Inspiration for the Unhappy Once upon a time, there was a little sparrow who hated to fly South for the winter. He dreaded the thought of leaving home so much that he decided to delay the journey until the last possible minute. After bidding a fond farewell to all of his sparrow friends, he went back to his nest and stayed for an additional four weeks. Finally, the weather turned so bitterly cold that he could delay no longer. As the sparrow took off and started to fly South, it began to rain. In a
  23. There's no reason not to have a suppresor. There's a loss in muzzle velocity, but that's about it. You see SF guys with QD suppresors on their weapons all the time for no apparent reason. Perhaps just in case
  24. This is what I recently caught on to. I love it myself.
