  1. You must not fully understand the way it works over in DYNACOMP. Myself and Para give the scripter the basics of what the mission should accomplish, feel like, and the base objectives, and then the scripter can do anything they want to fit the skeleton parameters. If the scripter wants to add an ambush and it'll work in the skeleton, we encourage it. Any kind of insertion the scripter wants (within reason) is a definite plus.   7. All right gents, as the topic reads, the DYNACOMP team might be opening up for two mission scripters. But before you get excited, I'm going to need a PM with the following information: Are you a team player? Can you take constructive feedback? And are you willing to completely rewrite a mission if it doesn't turn out the way it needs to be? Also, if you could give me a list of specialties (ie cinemas, helicopter scripting, large scale infantry battles, stealth missions, effects, dialogue, or anything else dealing with mission scripting) and a couple of missions for me to look at.
  8. This is my favorite joke. A couple are having problems in their marriage. So, they go to a marriage counselor. After some long sessions, the couselor finds that it is just a loss of passion.   13. Well, it's my first hand made texture. All of it is completely done by me. Para basically held my hand and told me what to do, and I got it done. I'm pretty happy with the results. Here's how it looks on a model: I've already given it to a couple of people, and if anyone else would like to have it, pm me and I'll send you the high res version with both sides in any file format you'd like.
  14. Pretty good. Looks a bit blocky on the top. Try chamfering the edges a little bit.
  15. Does anyone here know how to accomplish this? I'm working on a high explosive grenade, and I want to put it in game. Any help would be appreciated.
  16. These are prob the most realistic SF type missions you could come up with. The standard run and gun missions that have become a GR favorite are not realistic.
  17. I'm going to begin an 8 mission campaign. But before I start, I'd like to know something in your guys opinion. I personally love No Easy Day, can't get enough of it. I've asked Coco for permission to use parts of it. What I'd like to know is whether or not you guys would play it if NED was required? It's a great mod and the missions I'm planning are going to deal with stuff that the skins for the woodland .envs would be absolutely perfect for. So, what kind of interest would there be in this kind of mod? Oh, and obviously this would only happen if Coco gives me permission to do so.
  18. First I've seen of the black version. That's very cool para. Very cool texture btw, but imo the rail on the top pick of the black version mounted on the right side of the heat guard looks a bit cartoony. I'm sure you can work it out.

  20. I'll just set up my own group of specialists. I'm not a very big fan of the ones that came standard with it. They're really good skins, but they're just not quite what I look for in a specialist.
  21. I could probably model it, but my skills at exporting are questionable at best. I'm sure I could probably export it as a .chr, but it'd be pretty wierd at best. Cool.
  22. We named our 2nd cat Socks. He's got little white feet and a white patch on his chest. The rest of him is black. Biggest cat I've ever seen. He weighs bout 20 pounds and is a very nice one. He just showed up on our porch one day and stayed. Then my dad took him to a farm about two miles away But my cat got his revenge. Showed up right on my dad's birthday as he was opening his presents This cat will start purring the second you touch it. It even purs just sitting on the floor.   23. I have but one question for the DTD team. Is there any way to get the cool Delta CAG chrs that protect Karzai in the 1st mission playable without either: 1 - Renaming the files or 2 - Changing actr files I'll prob set up my own specialists using the brilliant skins from this mod, but perhaps not for a little while.
