Thank you for all the comments, I really like the m14 as well, but I'm not nearly as good as swartsz. The whole m14 is 5269, almost half of that being the aimpoint. I need to remake that and redo the barrel and gas system, those two piece alone account for over 3000 polys.

DF1 was the second SF game I got, possibly the third. Good fun, can't wait for this one, esp for the $20 tag. Good memories, esp of sniping guys from 1km+ with the Barrett. One of the first games with huge maps, even though the enemies were idiots. MP was a shootfest, but had the potential for a realistic experience imo, at least in the second one.

Not this again . . . I played Vice City for a good five hours yesterday (sick and home from school) and I don't feel any different. If games really effect me in the way that people play them out to be, then apparently I don't have any morals anymore. Not nearly done yet, but: The aimpoint is thrown in there to kind of give you an idea of the finished product, complete with imaginary scope mount. . . . The action still needs to be finished, but I'm pleased with the results this far. The rifle is 3330 polys at the moment, w\o any optimizing, and the aimpoint is 2000, will make sure to redo the aimpoint. This is my first rifle succesfully completed with poly modeling.
