  1. And\or are operators that allow you to expand or narrow your statements:

The or operator creates a statement where if one of two or more things happens, an event will occur.

The and operator allows you to narrow the statement, such as if the demolitions charges are placed in two seperate zones, then trigger mission complete.

Can't help you on the not, sorry.

  2. You might as well ban toy soldiers, toy weapons, model kits and wargaming for that matter. Crikey if they did........China and most of South East Asia would be bankrupt the next day.

I'm sure that someday, someone will complain about them being politically incorrect and training mercenaries in America. They'll become illegal for minors at least. I haven't been able to find the little plastic cowboys and indians that I used to play with anymore in Utah, try hard as I might. Politically correct? Absolutely not, but they were still fun when I was little.

edit - Forgot to mention something. My school changed its bell system because it wasn't "politically correct" We used a siren in the morning to tell you that it was time to go to class. It's gone. Now we're politically correct :wall:

  3. For anyone that cares:

The M14 trudges onwards, but the progress is slow. Currently in the process of grouping the UVWs in neat little bunches to make a smaller texture. I'm going to be using five textures for one gun because I'm lazy. One for the aimpoint one for the magazine, one for the frame of the gun, one for the reciever, sights and barrel, and one for the bolt and another little piece. The last two should be pretty small, esp the one with the bolt. I'm about to go insane from moving the UVWs like this, it takes forever.

  4. Yeah. He's still showing on my "users reading this forum list" too. I looked up his previous posts and unless someone is spoofing the account, I'd say it's the same guy.

Not that he'll post any confirmations (or likely denials), but it's nice to see the one of the GR developers still keeping up with the community happenings, whether he's involved in the new ones or not.

Thanks for the great game! :notworthy:

    You are welcome! :D

I always tried to keep up with the GR community even though my previous game was not really related to anything GR or even modern military for that matter, but I'll probably be poking around here a bit more now.

We are hoping to release some more information about BlackFoot Studios and what we are doing in the coming weeks. That information will surely be posted here at GR.net.

Awesome stuff on your site, especially the maps. Only one tiny problem that I've noticed with any of it.

    M4 Mod A

I do believe that someone forgot to finish the magazines on the M4, at least for a render showing them off like that.

Other then that, everything there is absolutely awesome.

  5. Interesting logic chain there. Some real fallacies though.

1 - We don't know if Blackfoot is on GR3

2 - Even if we assume that Blackfoot is on GR3, we don't know if swartz is working on GR3

3 - No one's going to confirm this, although there might be a denial of this statement

My conclusion is that the idea is very doubtful at best and is plagued by too many assumptions.

  6. The whole domino effect for this thread has been brilliant. It appears that when anyone hears\sees anything about DA, the user of the mod is a bad guy. DA is a jackass, no denying that. The people that use it, that's another deal entirely. I don't use it, and I don't support anyone using it, but if you'd actually take a step back and examine Cactus's original post, you'll see that he's not doing what everyone seems to be thinking he is. My $0.02. Don't flame me :help:

I do agree with GRT on one thing though: :lockd:

Someone please lock this thread, it's completely pointless!
