    Rules do not constrain us (in fact I disagree totally with the trend in your post that effectively says we need to break rules to move on - what sort of society would we live in if that were the case??). What constrains us is the limits of our imagination.

    Rules are an invention of the man to keep you down :P

    Anyway, to get serious, rules play a vital part in keeping the world together and keeping people alive and well. There are times when rules become oppressive, harmful, or ridiculous. Segregation in the US? Excessive taxing to fund frivolous programs? Or in Utah, not being able to buy alcohol on Sunday. Plenty of rules must be broken to move on. Have a look at this list, the 100 most important people of the past 1000 or 2000 years, can't remember which. Most of them did good stuff and broke a rule of some sort to do it.

    So, Nightmare, are Lab 4 an actual punk rock band, or just people who dress like one? I assume they're techno, because that's about all you listen to. Whatever you like I suppose . . .

    I used to act like you Sufa, and then I turned twelve. So, let's examine this in a a post by post analysis :thumbsup:

    Can a modder out there make a truly compatable and realistic as possible Rainbow 6 mod? I mean make it with all the weapons including Athena Sword's SM4 CQB.

    Who's up for it?

    Now, you didn't ask for FPWV, next day delivery, or anything of that nature, I understand.

    This is the right forum. Just remember theres no first person weapon view for GR. Also its not as easy has you just ask and the next day its done. Itd take awhile to make everything for a total conversation mod.

    A simple post aimed at being helpful; centered around informing you that it might take a bit of time and that a game like RVS isn't going to happen via a R6 mod for GR.

    Man I never asked for a first person view. And where did I ask for next day delivery?

    The SM4 would simply be a gun mod just like any other. Did you think I wanted tear gas, ladder climbing and HB sensors?

    If I have to read this pontificating bullcrap then forget about it.

    This is the start of aforemention tantrum. Instead of acting rationally, it would appear that you think that everyone on here owes you something in the form of absolute answers and someone stepping up to the plate to do your mod request.

    It all goes down hill from here.

    Why was GRT correcting me for something I did not say? I simply asked for a realistic Rainbow 6 mod with all weapons. Where did I ask for a 1st person gun view and demand it be finished "the next day"? It was insulting so I replied appropriately.

    And you snared_gambit are an ass just for defending such a response.

    There was no correction, read it again. The post was trying to be helpful. The reply was not appropriate, it was ridiculous and misinformed. Just so I get this right, why is it insulting to be told that there won't be a FPWV and that it will take a while?

    OMG....poor 'possum....

    Which brings me to an (disturbing) observation; I noticed many drivers that deliberately run over and kill smaller animals any chance they get (be it frogs, hedgehogs, cats, foxes, rats..you name it) Interesting enough, once those poor animals are roadkill, they'll swirl they way around them....

    People who do that are sick. I too have noticed that some people try to hit animals while they're alive, but they dodge the dead bodies, which is bizarre.

    There are sicker things that people do to animals though. I heard about one person nearby who buried a cat upto its neck. I'll spare you the details, but the rest involved a lawn mower. It makes me so sad to hear about people who do things like that. I hope no one ever hits any of my cats, they're too great.

    Anyway, I've always enjoyed that possum picture. :)

    Excuse me, I was mistaken in assuming that you were referring to a mod for the R6 series and not GR, thus, it would've been the wrong forum. My humble appypollylogies. 0:)

    As for the other people forgive me for stumbling onto Holy Ground.

    You didn't stumble onto hallowed ground, you're acting like an ass. GRT simply said that it would take quite a bit of effort to do so, and you're acting like a four year old. This is one of the most helpful communities if you ask politely and don't rip someone a new one after they try and inform you of something, because no one here has to do anything for you.

    I have, and I can assure you that Gav's assessment is accurate. Avoid at all costs, there is nothing here, not even decent beer. It's 3.2 instead of the regular. To quote a movie: "You know that a drunk is just going to drink twice as many beers to get drunk. So now not only do you have a drunk, but a fat and smelly one at that."

    Don't come to Utah. My best friend is leaving his girlfriend, all of his friends, giving away a good amount of his stuff, and his family just to get out of here. I'd go, but I have obligations here I have to fulfill, but once I graduate, I'm going to DC with him.

    So, what's this "S######horpe" place? :shifty:

    Haha Dan. :) I've heard that one before, except it's usually jocks (not athletes, there's a difference, athletes are nice people, jocks are jerks) asking me, "Hey, are you a master-debater?"

    @Gav80, both have their required skills, and you're right, debating is different then arguing. I see an argument as more of trying to show someone that you're right, based on anger or violence. Debate is informed analysis of things, trying to present evidence or reasoning that proves your side of the issue. I don't really like sports, just a personal preference.

    I'd personally choose Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, or the UK. The Carribean is always a nice place to go if you're going to South America, but steer clear of Mexico. It's not very nice at all unless you hit Cancun.

    I've finally decided that of all activities I've ever done in high school, debate has helped the most. Using skills I've acquired from debate, I just talked my mom down from being firmly against to supporting a purchase of 500 studs to stud a jacket with.

    On another note, I am the president of my school's debate team next year. Very surprised by that, I didn't think I would get elected. I'm really looking forward to it, and I hope that I can continue helping the team in the way that the last ones did. Our school has been state champions for three years in a row. It's the only thing I have any pride in.
