  1. UBI calls the shots, the trailer just like the one for GR2, represents the basic way the game is going to be. Fine, but my problem is with those the try censor those that you do not agree with. Calius had a well thought out, logical post on his opinion on GR3. Debate him on the merits of his post but I will not stand by this time and let the UBI acolytes shout out dissent this time around.

I've never seen someone take something like a bad videogame so personally. The attitude you seem to have adopted since GR2 PC got cancelled is that the system was trying to silence you, the whole "Give me liberty or give me death," thing. Get a grip, it's just a game in development, not a coup de' e'tat or a revolution that's going to alter your state of living.

The reason for the so called "censoring" is because it just got so tiring, or at least imo that's why. "OMGLOLBBQ! GR2 is t0tally g01ng 2 sXXUrozz teh big oen!!!1!!1 (pR0n!)" I got tired of hearing this day after day after day, and I'm sure that plenty of other people did as well. It wasn't even original, it was the same argument again and again. "They haven't shown us this or that, time to ######."

[sarcasm]I'm sick of this bs whining, I'm going communist. Silence the traitors! Executions at dawn! If you disagree, to prison for life! Das Kapital! Motherland! Etc![/sarcasm]

  2. I use google image search as well, and I keep coming up empty. I need perspective shots to see how various parts line up in a 3d plane, how they're shaped, etc. I model things with more detail then your average GR weapons, refer to my sig for my 1911 model, and it's easier to make parts if you can see them from different angles.

  3. I usually have trouble finding straight on shots, but today, it's perspective shots I'm having a hard time with. I can not seem to locate a single picture of the FN Mk 46 that's not either directly left or directly right, and it's driving me nuts. Could someone be helpful and point me in the right direction for some perspective reference pictures?

  4. I agree with everything that WK said. I got into R6 after I saw it for Playstation in a PSM. That night, I bought the Gold Pack for $16 (a hefty sum if you're 10 or 11, I can't remember which). I had to play it on my dad's computer at work, and beat the game after two months of going down and playing for an hour or so as often as I could. I was foaming at the mouth for the realism the game offered. RS brought even more, and I played that game to death. I stumbled across Ghost Recon looking for RS mods, and got it the Christmas it came out and just played and played.

  5. I apologize if I contributed to this at all, I just thought you sent the message across overly sharp. I do agree and support you though. Moving to other game engines is for sure better then hanging around on GR. Do good in whatever you go to

  6. But you notice they aren't in combat though.

In combat I'ld carry my weapon high, near ready to fire.

I remember somewhere Hatchetforce talked about how weapons are carried in combat. Until a target is up, the weapon is at low ready (in a FPWV you would see maybe a little piece buttstock. At some point it comes up to the shoulder in high like you said, and then is sighted and fired, then dropped back to low-ready after all the shooting is done. If that's wrong, someone please correct me.
