  1. You're not going to have much luck getting a model that is of the detail you're probably looking for in BF2 from a GR modding forum. You're probably going to have to model it yourself.

  2. Hey. Do you have me blocked on MSN and GRnet still?

No, I just work from appear offline mode mostly nowdays, but I did have a lot of people blocked for a while so I could check my email and other things quickly without having to talk with anyone that I didn't absolutely need to. I didn't even know you can block people on GRnet.

  3. I've been gone for two months, the entire summer. I was working at a Boy Scout camp by Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons on a rock wall for climbing and rappelling. I just got home after hoofing it 35 miles through the Tetons on the Teton Crest trail. It totally ruled. Perhaps after I get all of my stuff out, I'll put some pictures up. Anyway, I'm back. :)

  4. The FN SCAR will be a great rifle as you can change calibers.

The 7.62 x 39 would be a great choice to take on missions.  Kill the enemy and take their ammunition.

I'm not so sure about that myself. Maybe if you're fighting an enemy that has really great ammo, but most of the places that US forces are fighting aren't known for impeccable weapon and\or ammunition quality. I dunno, I know I wouldn't want to have my weapon stop shooting because I picked up some crappy ammo. You would have to be cautious at best with picking enemy ammo up.

  5. who wants to make this shotgun?

    shottty3dm.jpg

its a remignton 870 with Mesa Tactical AR stock conversion kit, crane stock and a reflex sight.  :)

ok now it a bad photoshop recreation but it would look very similare to that

Gimme a bigger pic then that and I'll see what I can come up with. :)

  6. owned indeed!  :clapping:  :notworthy:

Though I somehow doubt the words of someone who's been there, done that and got the bloody T-shirt is going to convince the "google squad" members that frequent this site thinking they know it all. :wall:

Yeah, I used to be one of those

    "But this website says this."

After a few bad threads, I figured it out. Someday, they will too.

get over it. we don't know a damn thing about the PC version yet, including if it will or will not ever be released, so can we please hold down some of the belly aching and whining, please.

I agree, qwitcha#####in and just wait until we know something besides what it kind of looks like. In the meantime, make sure to cry about everything that doesn't seem "quite right" to improve the product.

(For the slow: I'm being sarcastic as I don't really care at all, it's a game, not the end of the world)

  8. Humor? How? I'm confused.

    Sexy car though. Wow.

You've gotta read all the comments for it to be funny imo. It veers off of cars to a debate about racism. The best though is this comment:

Exelero?  That reminds me of Marge Simpson's SUV, Canyonero
  9. What's wrong with chamfered extruded splines?  I still do the main bulk of my work that way even though I do use most of the more indepth tools aswell.

I'd say the tecnique used really doesn't matter aslong as the end result is what you want it to be  ;)

Nice work on the 1911 element  Lots better than what my second model looked like!

Nothing's wrong with it, I think it's more of the edit-mesh modifier and all of its "lovely" options that made me wish I was dead every time I opened up 3dsmax. Edit-poly is the way to go imo.
