  1. Wow John.... we looking forward to see that in your new projects.... Very impressive, thanks for make this game better for us.
  2. Sure Anthony, I´m very busy these days, but I will find the way to share some GRAW2 sessions with you mate. Send me a private with your email to contact.

  3. Hey John, I didn't have any problems at all with your last maps. I can play it smoothly without issues or crashes, apart the usual GRAW2 crashes, of course. I get FPS enough to share with kaapo if I will be able do that Is strange that they can play other complex maps without trouble or lag, but seems they need some hardware upgrade. I experience no differences with the other maps, but my system is quite updated in hardware. Regards, keep going mate.
  4. Ok John, another great mission, very nice job. No issues so far. Done in a bit more of an hour killing 163 AIs, in easy mode (alone), well not so easy when the server is in hard settings, . Only two minor comments or suggestions. 1. A sniper can be added up there, covering the objective, could be deathly... (may be it is in position in hard mode, don't know) 2. Is strange that the bot under the stairs spawn at trigger 22 (just when one is going up the steps), maybe it can spawn at the previous trigger. Again, nicely done John, thanks for your work.
  5. Hi. No FPS issues for me. Smooth and very playable, at least for me. EDIT. At 1920x1200, all video settings to the top.
  6. Tried v1.1, no issues and no icy textures, at least for me (didn't realized with v1.0, though). Fine job again, John.
  7. In addition to the previous stats boxes, I love the "current server status" module, you can quickly check without start the game, if there are some partners already in to join they (as I prefer not to play alone). Very nice job, Jody.
  8. Well, I bought the DVD and added a small donation as a way of thank you a minimal part of the fun I have got in this forum. Thanks so much for you effort that makes us enjoy even more our favorite game (GR:AW 2 for me).
  9. Very Nice John, we enjoyed every corner of this map... Thanks again for your work.
  10. Hey Bob, tried v2.3, loads fine and enjoy much more the mission now (had fun looking for the heavy sniper on the VIP's location). In the other hand, I had the same issue that Rahnman states. Once I get "Checkpoint one Activated" message it stays there all time. When I completed the "hold position" objective around the VIP's car, it lighted up the "Checkpoint two Activated", then faded out and again I got the "Checkpoint one Activated", then alternativately showed checkpoint one and two, but always activated one of these messages on screen. Despite of that, great improvement and nice job again Bob. Thanks for your effort, making us enjoy even more our favorite game.
  11. Hey Bob, v2.2 don't load for me. It stucks at the loading splashscreen, and I waited 5 mins. Version 2.1 loads ok. I don't get the error that Rico states about the limousine.
  12. Great John! Still have not finished (a bit long for a single player in one session, but nice for a team), and I found no major issues so far. The only thing I found is that some AIs got their patrol trajectory blocked by objects, but don't know if it have some workaround. Blocked by a ramp, at start: Near by there is an invisible wall that force you to go round it (same happen in coop version): Other guy blocked by the truck trailer (the dead one): Other two bots blocked by the ammo crate and a pillar (tagged, nearby the depot objective): I know it may require hard work, but what about to include a objective (removing one of the current secondary), of blow out the helicopter on the elevated heli pad to avoid the boss escape? Any case another great campaign mission mate. Need a rest, then will load the savegame and finish it. Good job! Regards. EDIT. Was a bit hard to finish it, because don't know why every time I loaded the savegame, all AIs on the map (and new spawned later too) know my exact position shouting that have located me, and the open fire at first sight. Well, good job mate, I only miss the havoc when climbing to the HQ, but nice finish.
  13. Hey guys, As there are tons of kits, and in the brief time you have to start a game or respawn, you only can check a few of those combinations. So, if you want to take sometime to select the more appropriate kit for you, I edited a graphical document that list all the available kits. I love those with flashlights . Here you have: Rahnman's Weapons Mod v4 Kit List Hope it can help . Regards.
  14. Yeah, I can say is the perfect complement for Rahnman Mod... very nice Jody & Rahnman.
  15. Hey Bob, tried v2. No strange plants this time, but billboards look without textures: While some other structures have interesting colours, but as you said is a problem in the conversion or other mods, nothing related to your nicely done work, mate. Anycase it doesn't mind. I have done the map with 116 kills this time and found the APC nearby the extraction, much better. If it were possible would be interesting to add a couple more of AIs and a sniper to the square where the VIP is, same to the gas station and extraction. Ah, I realized that after done the "hold" objetive at the VIP's car, it repeats the order of "hold" but immediately one get the Fuel Tank objetive. Have tried to blow out the tank with bullets (RX4, MSG90 and G18) and with GL without sucess, only a granade can do the job as you stated. As I said, nice map. Thanks for you work Bob. EDIT. A comment if you consider it. The aim of the "Rebel position" (fuel tanker) objective is to create a diversion, right? So one can expect that after blow out that thing, a number of AIs converge to that position, nevertheless I found my self alone at the gas station after it collapses. If you can add an APC coming in after the objective is done and/or a patrol coming in, I think that will improve the mission.
  16. Ok it works now, thank you. Will try soon. Regards.
  17. Can't wait But surely with your new SSD you finish it at light speed.
  18. Hi again, Am I doing something wrong? when I click the link get an "Invalid or Deleted File" error from MediaFire. Regards.
  19. Is not an issue at all, only remember to reload before ressuply and that's it. Man love those flashlights (see following pics), in a future version if you want me happy , please include a secondary (G36 or Sig552) with flashlight, supressor and a scope (as I can select in campaing mode). Anyway I enjoy to use your weapons mod (especially after Jody's Game Selector). Well, returning to the topic, played Sinaloa without problems: Yuhuuu (climbing to the transmiter) John, I believe that guy spawned there while I was hidding in the building (near alcohol target, map position below): As I said, love these flashlights: Mission Accomplished: Done with 167 kills (2 by my AI team mates). Sorry Rahnman, wasn't able to check the mysterious helper, as this time kept my AI buddies alive. A bit easier than the previous mission but still had fun playing it. Nice job John, this is the mother of all campaings, lol. Regards.
  20. Howdy, Played alone without issues, great adaptation. I did not experience the mysterious helper that Rahnman refers, but i didn't lost all my AI partners (after loss two I left behind and hidden the last). BTW resupply crates works nicely even with the Rahnman weapons mod (4.01), only that (if Rahnman is reading this) it completes the clips but not the bullets in the current clip, not a problem anyway, only have to remember to reload before resupply . Nice job, John. EDIT. I mean Gunrunner mission, so will try Sinaloa and see if the mysterious helper appears.
  21. Nice map Bob. Huge as I like and no issues so far. only if it would be possible to increase the number of AIs, including some more snipers will be perfect (done alone in less than one hour going slowly and killed 99 bots). Anycase had a good time playing it. Thanks for your work. Some minor comments (pics): Lime grass and mars like plants. No paint work at the fuel tank? (used a nade as suggested, but C4 could be and alternative, if possible) After destroy the fuel tank, gas station shows a nice explosion, the roof fell to the ground but still can be seen at its original position (same with the billboars displaying the fuel prices). In the last part, going from the parking lot to the extraction point, no AI was found. Finally, I noticed that most of the snipers use a supressed M416, making him less lethal but also hard to locate, and many spawn in a prone position, good. Again, Very nice job Bob.
  22. Thanks to you John, I'm glad to colaborate someway, you and every member on this forum make me enjoy this game to the max. Anycase I accept your invitation Please check this post: http://gskill.us/forum/showthread.php?t=913 it contains general advices about using SSD. The three more important steps are to disable or check that are already disabled: 1 Superfetch 2 Windows Defragmenter 3 Drive Indexing Regards
  23. Yes John, your MB is not SATA3, is SATA2. It can use SATA3 disks, but at SATA2 speeds (because is downgrade compatible). With "Marvell controller" i mean the secondary controller that your MB has. As Intel controller included in X58 chipset is only SATA2 (SATA3 compatible but working as SATA2), usually in some X58 MBs (like mine from Gigabyte GA-X58-UD7) there are a secondary controller (from Marvell, in my case too) that has the SATA3 support. However in your case your secondary Marvell controller is older than mine and even is SATA2 also. So I think is a good choice you made. With a SATA3 SSD you probably don't notice significant difference with a good SATA2 SSD in your PC, and also surely is more reliable at this moment. Moreover if you want to reach the top of your SATA2, you can add later a second SSD in RAID 0 configuration. On behalf of the GRAW2 comunity I hope that your new disk will go fantastic, we need you and your maps Regards.
  24. I had a couple of ssd in RAID 0 configuration for 2 years without problem, but that disk you mention is a bit new, so I recommend you that wait (until they release a more stable firmware) or get an "older" disk with the firmware well tested (check that several firmware version are avaible, and what it corrected) . Mine are from GSKILL, and also many users reported problems at first, but as the time passed and new firmwares were released is a pretty stable and fast system now. That disk is a bit risky, but could be worth to try, as you see your operating system flying at start up on a SSD. Also the Vertex 3 is a SATA3 drive, so you have to connect it to the marvell controller, for sata3 i would prefer to wait until Intel release a solution (depends on the motherboard you have). If you finally get one, check the guides out there to optimize Windows (if you are using it), for example you have to deactivate the defrag task, in order to avoid a premature wear of your disk. Regards Edit. I have read your motherboard model, that MB has not SATA3 port, so you cannot get the advantage of the SATA3 (6 GB/s) speeds (still works as SATA2) so if you don't plan to change your MB soon, a SATA2 SSD will be cheaper and maybe more reliable.
  25. Well, finally I was able to have a new test run. Now it works fine mate, no crashes so far. Only a thing, can you add more bots? i was able to complete the entire mission alone very quickly, killing only 60 AI's, also a few more snipers would be great, there are many possible locations in this scenary. Even an enemy tank will enhace the map. (I know, too many wishes and you warned us about that in the first post) I love these big maps, but this is a bit empty. Anyway very nice work pal, thanks, I had fun playing it.
