  1. Wow what a change since alpha. More avenues, less bush more ###### with 50 cals and more spawn points thank God ! I love it Daro! Keep up the good work!
  2. Havent played since alpha, but will give it a try and let you know. Daro I think you have done an excellent job. Tried my hand at map making and ended up swearing a lot and slitting my wrists. It is incredibly difficult. Well done lad!

  4. As mentioned above, Player vs Player online is full of cheaters in any game, this is why I only play coop in GRAW2. If our admins catch anyone cheating we ban them. We at =GSA= host COD4 and GRAW2, and I must say much more cheating happens in COD so I simply enabled kick voting and the guys sort out the cheaters, otherwise policing becomes a full time job. So yeah, coop FTW ! =GSA=BrettP

Daro and I played through without a hitch, other than the fact that we cleaned very carefully and systematically and he stumbled upon 3 "backspawn" coming back to join me after a death. All well and imho ready for release. Thanks to =GSA=Daro48 for testing with me.

  9. ok well wall man did a dance for me tonight http://www.xfire.com/video/42e3f8/ i always have a problem getting into the humraam house as i think the step is not even or the door is not breaking properly. http://www.xfire.com/profile/brettp1970/screenshots/?view#111783457 tonight the door didnt collapse properly, but i could shoot the remainder out. however i still couldn't get over the step whilst crouching. This especially sux when the tank comes around the corner. otherwise all well. Thanks to =GSA=Daro and [GSA]Subaru for testing.
  10. I played through from halfway with [GSA]Subaru and =GSA=Daro then ran through the big map on my own. All seemed fine except for one invisible\stuck in the wall guy in the humraam depot. http://www.xfire.com/profile/brettp1970/screenshots/?view#111698328 I also got stuck behind this lid for a while on the way to extract, after some AI shot a gas bottle and blew the trash with me behind it., but no biggie. http://www.xfire.com/profile/brettp1970/screenshots/?view#111698338 And as far as extract goes....one word...bushes... i like this map, it is very different and is a nice change. The only other glitch i had was a typical graw crash at antenna explosion, but only the once.   13. So I applied the fix and ran through trident and got 55fps and flew through with zero crashes. (apparently our server was upgraded yesterday, so that may have something to do with it.) I then ran through in superman mode and triggered all the triggers simultaneously and np. just dropped from 55 to 28 fps. Only thing I noticed was my graw2.exe in memory still grew form 512mg to 1024 after playing. So must be resources then I guess....

  15. Hi John, Thanks for that. I know this particular forum has been drifting , but thanks for your explanations. One last silly question. What specs do you recommend \ do you have? Just so we don't buy below the minimum. Mine: C2D E 8400 \ 4gb \ 64 bit\ GT 240. Where should I improve? Then we promise to get back on topic....

Thx for that kaapo and John, Kaapo, it definitely sounds like your server is out of resources if it is doing the virtual memory thing....(said as an IT guy, not a gaming expert, cos I have yet to become that., but IT is my trade.) The only other map I battle with is Los Morelia\Morels? I cant remember, names too similar, but the one with the sandbags and MG at the start. That one is unplayeable for me most of the time. Most of the clan has a similar experience and we have removed it off the server completely as a result. I don't know what these GD servers specs are but i will find out. I can happily play through Harry 2056 without any crashes strangely enough, as seen as you asked, kaapo. If you want to compare notes, you are welcome to add me brettp1970 to your xfire, then we can keep the back and forth out of the forums until we have some solid answers for the guys. Funny enough the older huge maps like leopardos, los mochis, gunrunner and even newer like saltillo, veracruz etc, give me no lag whatsoever, just the odd graw crash. Even dualzone now that you ask kaapo, gives me no lag. John what is the diffs between maps like dualzone and trident? Both big, but one has no problems? Programming is a weird thing which I won't pretend to understand, so I think you have a difficult task with all these variants.
  17. I am sorry I haven't posted much on the beta, been extremely busy and when I do play it's late and I either am too tired to post immediately or someone else has already mentioned the problem. I have played through alone on easy several times and have never managed to complete the mission without crashing out. I get kaapo's ??? error and never explosion related. i also get tons of lag on this map. The rest of the stuff I've noticed has already been posted. (I know I'm gonna get told it's resources...lol) DC E8400 4gb 64bit GT240 on Gaming Deluxe Server.
  18. Played through a bit with kolibri560, [DTA]Samurai and Anthony and the players reported no problems. imho I think it is ready...
  19. As Daro says, we played this through last night , no prob. There is no problem with that ramp, i run down it fine, so I think the others have a lag problem or some such. Thanks to =GSA=Daro48, =GSA=Triplex, [GSA]Marlize and TAW_Ice for testing. Thanks John for an awesome map with no problems.
  20. TAW_Zero said it like it is. These buttons have been around a while now. Why only now that we add a third button are we confused? Simple, when in doubt, don't press anything, it is automatic.
  21. All went well. Have played through a few times on single and multi. = There are no bundle problems, as I downloaded it the minute it was released and played it through. Smooth as a baby's bum, got through with 1 death amazingly enough. No porterslug, more effects = more crashes...lol :no: Thanks to the following =GSA= for testing : Triplex, Marthan, Marlize, JarredP, Daro48 Great map John, loving this and grenada a lot. I love small maps.
  22. Went awesomely well, especially when Daro stood on one of his mines .... Nothing I could see out of place and imho is ready for release. Thanks to the following GSA lads for testing with me : Triplex. Daro and Vicmaal
  23. Well we played through again, and all seems perfect to me. the unsurmountable death toll has reduced slightly with 3 players, so i am happier now, although these buggers are really really quick Thanks to =GSA= Daro and =GSA=Triplex for helping out faithfully as always.

Well Triplex and I played through it again and apart from the odd thing already mentioned in alpha testing, like occassional guy who doesn't mount MG\react (much better now, only saw one, but can't remember where it was, will check.) There were 2 occassions where the Mg didn't aim and missed by miles. He kept firing straight ahead...I know the one was on the roof where the glass surface was, but will have to play again to see whether it's the game\server or the map. The AI in the first humraam didn't respond at all, other than that,the guys on this map are very much awake and my body count was a bit embarrassing, especially in the sheds. All in all really, I can find nothing noticeably wrong or irritating, so if no one else has these problems it can probably be released soon.
