Lots and lots of work

It's the details that would make these locations shine like ruined buildings, debris, ruined cars etc. but it's good idea for map scenario.
-
I'll have to go with Hammer on that. I would like to see it more realistic but then you'll need all aspects of the game follow realism which is near impossible.
-

What on earth is this? A joke?

-
Where are the shadows? It's like the ghosts are elevating. I'll check them all later.
-
Impressive job Tinker! I like it the mood of it. Caves is nothing special of a map but on my list is very high.
Woodlands FTW! And you just made it better

-
If your camera has histogram option, use it! That way you see if your shot is under/over/properly exposed so that you can make exposure compensation or if in full manual, adjust exposure time.
More on this here http://www.luminous-landscape.com/tutorials/understanding-series/understanding-histograms.shtml or use Google powah

You really have a cheap lens

Check this http://alphatracks.com/archives/141 you can get very very decent glass like zeiss lenses and more with this way. I do the same but with Nikon and by that I have way limited choice of lenses because flange distance from lens to body is to big!
You wont have autofocus or metering but that will force you to get into full manual mode. On ebay you have loads and loads of old manual lenses with supreme quality without breaking the piggy bank

Snow why the F8? I would try with F5.6. I think you would get enough depth of field. Grain here isn't coming from ISO but from jpeg compression. Also that kit lens isn't doing justice to your Sony. If there was wind you need faster exposure to freeze the motion.
Also on camera flash makes things difficult. A flash diffuser saves the day in situations like this.

Nothing to be sorry for alex. These errors happens to all of us. I have a lot of pictures with same problem

-
Alex try to straighten horizon next time. It draws your attention away from main subject too much.
Keep it up

-
Thx

Rocky it's called light painting technique. Long exposure, flashlight, tripod and darkness is all you need. The rest is up to your imagination.

Some early ones...

-
Nice ones Alex. Keep practicing your composition.

Here are 3 pictures that could be done in photoshop easily but they are not
I used a flashlight on a string, hanging from a ceilling. I spined it around, put camera in bulb mode and here is what happened. For the colored ones i used colored paper and double exposure. All at f5.6 and 28mm. ISO was set at 100 and times vary from 20 to 70 seconds. Next time I'll use wider lens to get all in frame

I've been meaning for years now to get a 50mm Nikkor lens. They're only like $100 to $200 (if memory serves) but I just never seem to get around to it. I did borrow a buddy's and shoot with it. It was nice. Not having the zoom as a crutch is really helpful for working on your composition.
I got mine for around 130$ from ebay. That's AI version. AI-S version is even better if 3D and unique IQ is preference. Wide open is hard to focus if hand-held but stopped down to 2.8 really starts to shine.
Like You pointed out, with primes one really needs to think of framing and composition and use own legs for zoom

-
Thx Ruin. That old 50mm 1.4 Nikkor makes sharp pictures. It's only manual focus but the more i use manual focus lenses, the more i like 'em. Right now i have 5 of them and only one AF.
Old glass FTW!

-
Hehe yeah, it's the one behind the camera that makes picture

Here's my smokin lemon. 8 second exposure shot with some effects. No fire was used at all. Fake smoke...

Needs more work.

Modding support?
Anti-cheat?

Hmm invisible soldiers?
And while the game is free for anyone to play, players also can purchase premium items and fully personalize their experience. So poor kids will run with AK's and rich kids with super duper M4 with nuke bombs and 3 mile zoom scope?

-
Not an add and not my site but a very nice giveaway. And the good part is that is not restricted to US. Good luck to everyone
