  3. Dunno...I'll try to find it again...was a few months ago... There is a site where guys have animation contests with this kind of engines and all looks awesome.
  4. They use some special engines for real time rendering. I saw once 8 minute 3D animation and it was awesome to watch. And file was around 120kb big!

  8. Cool tutorial but one question for the experts...Whats the point of detaching and flatting out the polys if u can simply use "Flatten Mapping" from "Edit UVWs" and export it with Texporter with same result? Or am i missing something here?

  12. Hey Sync have u tried target designator and mortar? All i see r n00bs on servers so yeah it's hard to get someone for some tests with mortar.
  13. IMO the graphics r not that bad but true, they r not FarCry like. What i like at this game is ability of hosting 100 people. I played on server with 92 people the other day and it was awesome and without lag. The fun is if u sneak up on the highest mountain on enemy island with SR-25 . I really like the bullet dropping on sniper rifles so u have to aim a little more precise from long distance. I think this game will have success.
  14. Ikesurfaces.txt is file that has all surface properties like metal, wood, concrete and that stuff. U need to configure it out in options of map editor. U'll find it in x:\extras\thunder\rsbeditor\rsbeditor\projects\ikesurfaces.txt where X is your hard drive. Portals r very important to keep as little polygons in view as possible. also portal is connection from one room to another. Good luck with it

  17. Stay out of UBI! Since u have no experience with catching hackers u will never know for sure if someone cheats or not. They can use SIFF or combat aim and that crap and u'll never get them. I still see n00bs who r using retlock and those r easy to get. The problem is when n00b is using hacks with more brain so u can spot it harder. But in the end they r all n00bs and sooner or later they make mistake. Visit our clan forum on www.special-recon-service.com . We have a big database of known cheaters with IPs and cheats explained.

  21. Since this is the effects topic i wont open new one . Does anyone knows why effects r working in single player but not in multiplayer?
