It's same patch people. EA is just always last to update their pages. Check out first links for both versions under mirrors i posted. It's coming straight from EA's ftp servers. Is that official enough?

7/10 Scanline is taking too much background detail. Border was taken out on purpose cuz from what i read it's hot thing right now, just to stay away from "classic" design. But yeah u r right ronin, it doesnt fit for GR.net forum cuz it's too bright.

Flash can be used?!? Sweet! I learned a trick or two in my flash adventure. @Goose- The GR.net is hard to read so u might wanna redo that part. Also some border is a must me thinks... Just my 0.02$

I know i had to remove my flash sig which was 20 pixels over height but was only 19 Kb big. I dont care about that sig in link cuz i have big monitor and fast connection but still so it doesnt matter to me so...

Thx ronin! I'll try what u suggested. I was also thinking of making html version so that all that would need a preloader, would be those swf's when u press buttons. Thx for help.

I hope this is the right forum to ask this I'm making my team's roster page in flash and i dunno how to preload *.swf's. It's designed of one main swf which contains some interface with buttons. Buttons load external swf files into that interface by using empty container for it. Now how would i preload all swf's at the beggining? Or preload each one separetly when needed? I've made a quick tut how to use blended material and how to bake it without special effects (read lighting). Textures used and end result are lame but at least u'll see how to make one. With different kind of mask u can do different kind of blended textures so for your example u would need something else. Play around to see what u can do with it. Xvid4 codec needed for video. >>Click Me!<<

Oh if it's for GR, it wont work unless u bake it and then re-apply to your mesh. If u wanna do it in PS, use offset filter on your tileable texture and add your dirt texture and play with blending styles.

Open IGOR, go to Tools>Environment Editor, load environment for your re-textured map, find "Desert Map" property and select it. Save it and u r done...
