Looks good! Polycount? Also i think this should be good mesh if u wanna try sculpting with zbrush. U could go crazy with details in there and make some really good normal maps after it.

Thx for comments guys! @Sup: u mean glass with those helixs around? @Ruin: i'm gonna try that tomorrow. Thx for taking time to explain! @Goose: maybe i'll do it @BTK: that texture u see is actually HDRI environment. U will see it at my last render where i made the last version of cup. In last render i used just plane for bottom and nothing else. In previous renders i had kind of studio lighting setup. As u can see now, HDRI is all over the place. I'll model some board beside where guys will write up winners at the end of the sesion and thats it. Maybe in version 2 next time.

Well Virtual Dub is something different and it's used for similar stuff. It cant open *.vob files from DVD but has more options for different video file types than Virtual Dub Mod.

You would need a uber computer to run it. Every interactive objects is dynamic which needs some sort of animation (open/close,destroyable) and that animation wants some memory. Now just imagine a map with what 1000 doors and windows like this?!? Forget it...

One more HDRI version. I really like this one. I added a gold ring around base. Is this called a trim Prozac and Ruin? I dunno really cuz my english is weak I'll try it with silver/chrome ring aswell to see what's better. I gotta work on that text too... Comments&critique welcome!

Well thx for input guys. I showed the guy wip renders and he is actually happy with glass version. I removed a bit of noise on glass and he requested that noise back on the ball Anyway here is one render with HDRI. And yeah, i'll probablly add something to the background.

How about a 200 poly trunk with noise modifier? U'll get a lot of details on the trunk i think.

Nice topic here Pro. Personally i think that in game, people wont bother too much with tree, specially with trunk IMO. They will look at branches and say wow but not for trunk but that is just me. If trunk has a good texture and has good design, u have a winner with not so many polys. Branches are usually cool if done right. Plane with some ammount of segments works good with verts moving or FFD modifier. In my attempt of making map for GR, max poly count for tree was 300 polygons so with your limit, i think u can get a very decent tree, specially with good texture.

Same here BTK and some indoors house HDRI's but those wont fit into scene like i want to.

Very nice start Sup! Skin shader looks a bit too plastic for me but mesh is looking good and i know u'll improve it even more!
