Thx swartsz! Yeah it's whole new atmosphere. Now i really need Neo and Morpheus fighting each other hehe.
-
Hehe. Thx Ledanek Here is volumetric light version. Maybe a bit too bright but i'm getting there. Swartsz i'll model something tonight after work for scaling. Only those paper panels in this version.
-
@Prozac: yeah that would work too. I'll try in max first and than edit it in PS. @swartsz: good idea! Would need to get some model tho. I have nothing on HD.
-
Thx for comments guys! Swartsz, as i post here, i'm rendering the volumetric light version so watch this space hehe! Ronin, how come i didnt think of that? I'll make one and dedicate it to you my friend!
-
Thx m8. I'm just rendering new version but not with any sticks and stuff like that. I just added those paper stuff panels and some light behind it. Maybe i'll add more details into the scene. Thx again

Well this was mainly modeled so i can practice interior lighting of large rooms. As u can see i still need some practice. Noise from GI is there cuz of medium render settings otherwise it would render too long. I started to like the feel of this dojo so i'm gonna put some more details in it. Maybe i'll even go with exterior.

Nice torso Sup! Why is texture so low-res? Is there a limit?

I was just looking modo's site and found this http://www.luxology.com/modo/201/video/201_UVUnwrap.aspx Some really smart tools! EDIT: Quick gif showing UVUnwrap feature

Wow! Texturing couldnt be easier!

Wow! Another great topic....NOT!

Yeah render times are insane! Render farm is the key element here. So what did u use for that animation swartsz ? Rigid body?

Anyone tried reactor in 3DSM? Recently i was making a still with golf balls in a jar. The problem was how to place balls to look naturaly. Was a pain in the (u know where ) to place them good so i did some research and found out that reactor can do the job. It went smoothly and right now i'm rendering animation. Now major problem is render time cuz the whole thing will render 40 hours on low-res and i started to think how to optimize the whole thing. Biggest problem is that i render with GI on. Anyone tried something similar? I'll post whole stuff here soon when it ends.

Woooohoooooo! Thank You guys! Looking forward to new GDCs...

Thx Hammer! Yeah i have to agree with u on the minimalism thingy. Well at least design was minimalistic cuz there is nothing but primitives in second scene. No modeling at all. Does that count?

Here are some new features in Bon Echo Alpha 1 that require feedback: * Changes to tabbed browsing behavior * New data storage layer for bookmarks and history (using SQLlite) * Extended search plugin format * Updates to the extension system to provide enhanced security and to allow for easier localization of extensions * Support for SVG text using svg:textPath * List of notable bug fixes DL: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/fir...a1/win32/en-US/

I'm using Verbatim DVD-+R media for almost 2 years and i never had any problems with it. The only thing i didnt tried is dual layer media from Verbatim.
