    im also receiving errors from 3dsm while trying to export a model;

    couldn't find registry entry for surface property list file

    couldn't find registry entry for surface soundlist file

    couldn't find registry entry for surface debrislist file

    i've messed in the registry before, But it's definitly useless unless you've got the data that you need to fill in...

    [edit] YEEY! found the helper point tool in JStools, after that i placed the points myself just figured out the helper point names:

    the four i knew:

    * ^RightHandPoint

    * ^LeftHandPoint

    * ^MuzzleFlashPoint

    * ^BrassEjectionPoint

    the ones i didn't knew

    * ^HolsterPoint (Very Tricky get right though...)

    * ^BackBlastPoint (for rockets launchers)

    I dont know if there are any others... :hmm:

    i've been modelling my first weapon, which went just fine (thanks to the tuts here), but now i've arrived at the exporting of this model, and i would like to put my rifle on the back of my character (preferrably diagonal).

    the problem is i've looked through this forum and all I can find are dead links, to either "piggyson's website or other pages which are offline. :wall:

    went trough google as well, but nothing showed up... :blush:

    does anyone know how to set this up, or knows a reference model to compare it too?

    i've been wondering about a folder in the root folder of GR.

    there is a model folder there; %installation folder%\red storm entertainment\Ghost recon\data\model\*.qob

    i know that *.qob files are models for GR weapons and other equipment, but still... i can't find any use for these files... :wall:

    google couldn't help me either, so maybe a expierenced user/modder of GR1 can help me out?

    i've played the game for quite some time and also have been modding for some time now, I recently thought up a way to design my own mod and what i wanted to do which was simple:

    * add a new class in multiplayer, (scout)

    * add a few weapons

    well i succeeded at this, well almost.

    I took the skin of a US marine sniper for my scout, (provided by GR:IT) which worked great for my scout in the original levels, and gave it the original skins of the sniper in GR:DS.

    now I started playing online with the mod. and soon noticed that the scouts face was white, in the GR: IT levels.

    while in the original levels and DS it worked great. me being subborn just entered the level and got a CTD (crash to desktop).

    afterwards i looked up IKE.log, this said at the bottem lines that it could not find Opposing_force_jungle_6.atr and opposing_force_5.kit

    After i saw that, i made the two files, it looked easy, got back to multiplayer; started an IT level and ... ANOTHER CTD!

    back to ike.log, it now asked for Opposing_force_jungle_7.atr and opposing_force_6.kit

    could anyone help me with this issue? all help will be appreciated...
