*weeps uncontrollably* It was my graphics settings.. my low-down graphics settings.. after all of that mind-numbing research and about 15 re/un-installs it was my freaking graphics settings... ANYWAY If someone happens to ever have the same problem and you're using Intel-Integrated Series 4 just use your default settings... I had all of the extra doo-dads turned on and they were screwing with the font's rcb files.. Sweet jeebus.. ANYWAY off to do some well deserved fragging! -Jig

I've tried everything I could think of.. used a zip file from wayback when that supposedly contained smaller fonts for Voodoo card users and that just made it all disappear. Seriously thinking that it might be a resolution thing but I can't find my options.xml to change the game into windowed mode. Is there another way of doing this for Digital Distribution copies? *sigh* I think this is why people do more console gaming these days.. I'm gonna need serious drugs by the time I get this figured out..

I updated to 1.4 and now I can't read any menus. It's all indecipherable gibberish. I got GR off of Direct2Drive.com along with the add-ons. I installed GR (which is pre-patch 1.0) and it worked fine. Not the first issue. I then installed patches 1.3 and 1.4. I did this consecutively with no restart and didn't bother to run GR until after the second patch was finished. I have yet to install either Desert Siege or Island Thunder. My OS is Windows Vista. Thanks in advance for the help, guys. Sorry my first post to this community had to be a tech issue
