Hi wombat50,
I know about the adjustments in Sound Options. That doesn't allow me to adjust gun fire sounds without also
affecting background sounds such as wind and animal sounds.

I'll have a good look through the forums. From memory I tried the patches included on the disc as well as downloading them and in the same order you mentioned except for DS and IT.

Hi,
I bought a copy of "Ghost Recon Complete" (1 dics GR, DS and IT). I installed it on my Game (F) Drive and was getting a "insert CD" message after installing a patch. This was some time ago and I think I hadn't installed the other 2 expansions first time but later tried different installs with the same problem.
In the end I uninstalled it and reinstalled into the default © drive and it worked until I tried patching it.
Since then my main drive died and I had to reinstall everything (XP Pro SP3).
What I want to know is if this game has to be installed into the default drive and which patch to use ( I don't play online)
