I experienced the same problem when running Ghost Recon on Windows 7 x64. Removing the options.xml file fixed the problem. I tried changing some options until I realized that setting Z Buffer Depth to 24 bits (default is 16) resulted in the multiplayer menu hanging problem. Going back to 16 bits fixed it but the quality is worse. Not sure why this is happening. I think it used to work on 24 bits Z Buffer before. Does this "fix" work for you? Edit: You have to restart GR after changing Z Buffer Depth, otherwise it won't work for me. Edit2: Setting Z Buffer Depth to 32 bit in options
