  2. Thanks for testing Klaus, I never noticed the heli appear out of the mountain when testing, if it keeps happening I'll change it. The load screen will be the one I use for the release version, for the beta version there is no night map this will be included with the release. John
  3. Urgent Fury v1.1 is now available. After looking at the code I noticed it was possible to clear both markers for the HQ objective (killing the AI is your main task) without completing the hidden objectives in the HQ buildings, so even though the markers were removed the objective wasn't complete. I believe that Rahn killed all the AI in both buildings which removed both markers but didn't complete the hidden tasks and not realising that he hadn't seen the Objective Complete message, this was the reason the extraction didn't start.   4. All files in the bundle folder are required to run the game so you cant remove any of those.
  5. Ok thanks Rahn. I'll go through the mission again to see what the problem is and post a new version. Rico, did you manage to complete the mission, did the heli's fly in and drop the AI? I should mention that there isn't a narcom calling for extraction in this mission, let me know if you think it's better to have it in there. Thanks, John
  6. If you are looking for some good coop maps the best place to look is in our download section. All the maps made by our modders here seem quite popular so give them a try, I can't help you on servers as I don't use them that often but the TAW server is one that springs to mind.

Most of my maps have a SP (Easy) switch in them which cut's the amount of AI by half, when the mission starts just walk up to the Easy switch and press "x" the light on the switch will come on indicating you are in easy mode. I don't use this high number of AI to overcome the lack of tactical play in the game, I do this by request of the majority of players and beta testers. As I just mentioned my maps have a SP mode so the amount of AI here is around 150-250, I have seen the AI do some great tactical moves like flaking your position when playing the SP mode, personally I prefer the
  8. If you have to many maps/missions in your custom_levels folder it can cause problems with maps not loading or game crashes. I would remove all the bundle files that you are not using to rule out this problem. I normally only have around ten bundle files in my custom_levels folder at any one time, it's surprising how much better the game runs and how much faster it loads if these are kept to a minimum. If this doesn't help try changing the order of your map rotation, put Blue Eagle and Stabilise in a different slot to make sure it isn't that maps that are causing problems.
  9. Hi Rahn and Rico, Thanks for testing. Strange you are unable to finish the mission Rahn, did you fully complete the HQ objective? there are two buildings there you need to clear of AI plus there are two hidden objectives (one in each building), when each building is complete the waypoint marker is removed and when both markers are gone that objective is complete. You can tell when the extraction has started as two MI17 transport heli's fly in and drop AI over the extraction zone. I'll take a look at all the code to see if there are any issues. Cheers, John
  10. The amount of AI depends on the map. It's not possible to spawn all the AI at the beginning of a mission as this would cause terrible lag, what we do is place triggers at certain locations around the map so when you activate these triggers it will spawn AI for that area. Once you have killed the AI those that are dead cannot be re-spawned but as you cross new triggers more AI will be spawned. A good average for custom maps is around 300 to 500 AI. There are a few out there with a mind blowing 2000+ most of which were made by a modder called Bogiegraphics.

  13. I believe the exporter only works with max 8, been using max 8 for a while now to make my buildings, never had any issues exporting the model.
  14. Hi folks, Urgent Fury is now ready for first beta. This map is built on a clean version of the Hacienda landscape, what I have done here is to make some large concrete slabs to cover the holes in the map where the original buildings should be plus I have placed some of these slabs around the map to accommodate some of the larger buildings. I think this has given a new look to the map.   21. Have to agree with Sart. Lovin the colour scheme as well, I'm colour blind but this skin is so easy to read something I had problems with on the old board skin.
