Comment from Jeff Brown (VP of Corporate Communications) While I would have expected the "Christmas holiday" season with lists to to be the desired goal of most sales targets, guess they didn't want to have to compete with other titles, also by March most peoples wallets should have "recovered" and it does give them more time to polish it

Have just been in town and I did spot the latest Edge magazine (September 2010) so had a good look but there is no mention of OF: RR in the index at all, flicked through the Magazine but only noticed articles on DiRT 3 & GR:FS, nothing on OF:RR I also had a quick look at several bag sealed PS and Xbox 360 magazines and while some purported to be “official” I didn’t see any mention of OF: RR on any of the ones they had.

As those of you that use Xfire may have noticed there has been surprising news overnight
-
Yeah, surprising to see it happening this way round. Normally you see Co-Op being dropped (or not even being considered from the start) for Adversarial Player vs Player modes (as I guess it is a lot easer to make a game without any Bots and all the AI "pathing") and it's almost unheard of not to have some PvP in the rare games that do have any Co-Op (even 4 player). They are going to alienate all the TvT focused players right off the bat (even if it wasn't so great in DR) in any other game a "focus" on Co-Op / SP would be cause for celebration and optimism.... but this sequel wil

Well there you go then, that's why you are having problems. You need to go and buy a legal version of the game We cannot help you any further until you do, at this site we do not condone or support Software Theft and Piracy Ghost Recon is an iconic great game and is well worth paying for, especially now it's available at bargain prices

The patch in the download section here is for the Retail CD version of the game. The Digital versions of the game have different patches (as they use different copyright protection) If you mistakenly patch a Digital version with a Retail patch it will then start looking for a game CD to authenticate the game Where did you buy/download the game from ?

Yeah, The problem seems to be at Filefront, not anything on "our" side
-
Can you give us some details (specifically which mods) and we’ll look into it straight away to see whats happening Filefront do have a habit of suddenly removing older files without notice and we have to re-upload them as we are made aware of them. If anyone finds download links that no longer work (or have problems), on the side of each files download page there is a “Report Broken Link” button, this send us a report with all the details and makes it faster to investigate each case .

OA DLC # 1: First DLC British Armed Forces
Pave Low replied to Big's topic in Arma 2 & OA - General Discussion
yeah, even though these models are ported /converted from VBS 2 content, £ 8 still seems reasonable for the level of very high quality polish that you wouldn't ordinarily get with most user created content and as someone pointed out this will "replace/supersede" dozens of separate UK forces fan mods with a single requirement that should make things much simpler for mission makers and players Yep -
on Amazon.co.uk Arma 2 @ £11.99 Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead @ £16.99 = "Combined Operations" @ £ 28.98

Yes, with a quality aftermarket CPU cooler and a good case they should easily be able to get a very stable overclock. See what they say they can overclock an I7 920 to, as that will save you a lot more ££
