The level is called "Gunfighter", it's from single-player and as suspected the choppers are completely "on rails" and you play as the gunner While very unrealistic , it still looks fun even though sadly they have chosen to make it an arcade style blast em up with unlimited ammo and self-healing choppers! although most players probably wouldn't find it "fun" if you just realistically clobber them from stand-off range while you whistle up a "Bone" for a JDAM drop There is an article about the level here Gamescom: New Medal of Honor Single-player Mission Playtest
