http://www.ghostrecon.net/forums/index.php?showforum=203 where a search would have found this existing thread > Remote administration is disabled ?
-
Yes, that would make a difference, should always patch to the latest version - v1.35 (it will fix more problems than it could potentially cause) although probably you will have to restart the campaign again Does sound like you have the Crosscom selection "bug" that loads of people have unfortunately suffered from and those linked threads should indicate how they got round it I believe you will need to use airstrikes/Apaches/artillery in future missions, so if you skip this one you will run into the same problem again later
-
click for the larger version
-
exactly what part is not working is it that the "Attack " come up but nothing happens when you select/click on it ? if so.... Are you still using the middle mouse button as the crosscom "use" key ? as that has had problems since one of the patches Have you tried to re-map the crosscom "use" key to a different keyboard key ? (Options \ Controls \ Misc \ Cross-com-use) IRRC some people had to completely restart the mission (or in some cases restart the campaign for it to work)

Thanks for the generous offer, but that is the entire purpose of this whole sub-forum here Each specific problem should have it's own unique discussion thread here and the idea is for people to post in it so that others can read what is happening and to contribute with suggestions rather than take it offline to PM's
-
That's a well known problem, just search "airstrike" to see the numerous existing threads about it for example: Site FAQ: How do I call in an Airstrike? How to do Airstrike.... Cross-Com commands + Mouse wheel Commands won't execute Unable to call airstrike to destroy ADATs HELP Cross-com Issues cross-com doest work to call in airstrike

and it's also posted in the GR.net FAQ How Do I Change the Reticle Color if you want to do it manually

should i go for 64 bit or 32 bit windows?
Pave Low replied to EricW's topic in Self Help Tech Support
If Windows XP - don't touch the 64 bit version with a barge pole. stick with 32bit XP If Windows 7 (or Vista) then definitely go for the 64bit version (and then stick as much extra RAM as you can reasonably afford in it (at least 4 Gb), not everything will make use of it, but the stuff that does it will make make a difference) that means both(all) cores are running that speed -
