Yes, you do need to add every .pbo that comes in a pack, some go in Addons folder, but some go elsewhere the readme file should tell you if anything in the download needs to be put elsewhere. some addons also require you to have other addon packs for them to work, but again the readme should tell you what is required (and usually the D/L site will also usually mention them and include a link on the download page).

Yep, It's on a proper dedicated server in a US data-centre, so it's up 24/7. Yes it's set to Sockets (as per the best practise from the OFP people). *I've got it running some of the missions we've been playing recently, so should really be played with 2or3 others but I've left the AI on.

Great shots especially the gulls that was so much fun swooping down and "harassing" the Russians, almost worth getting shot for I think that last shot is me ? if it's the back left seat of the chopper, as thats the position I had view from when on the chopper.

Yeah, and if you dump most of the pistol ammo you can stock up on em. Using flares was amazing not only did it mean not having the limited and restricted NVG view but it just made the whole map so eerily atmospheric as the pics show that night I was using just the white ones, I cant wait to try the red and green flares

Yeah, glad you tracked down the cause My IP is static so shouldn't change, but if any of the others are on dynamic IP's they will need to send/tell you the current one prior to each game. Do you have NIS notifications set to ON ? as that should report each blocked "intrusion" attempt with the IP and details.

that was going to be my next FAQ post "How to jump straight to a server" so the shortcut path would then be *If you leave out the -port bit, OFP will use the default port of 2234 **and for GOTY & Resistance owners you can also specify if the server is -dplay (direct play) or -sockets (but there should be no need to specify sockets as this is used by default).

To turn off all the startup intro screens just add -nosplash to the end of the desktop shortcut and your game will now launch straight to the main OFP menu EG:

Thanks mate , but I think I've got it sorted now, I managed to get one of the error message numbers out of the logs 0x100000EA and a bit of digging turned up that this was usually a result of: "THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER" so I uninstalled the new v66.81 detonator drivers and went back to v61.77 drivers and Sart and I have just had a 3 hour session (see previous post + ) and I had settings on high and didn't get one Freeze up or BSoD, so *crosses fingers* it looks to be cured and as for the two mouse pointers, I just dropped the refresh rate slightly so the game rate wasn't the s

your lucky, in the File-Planet D/L the readme file is Spanish Whenever I zoom in, I get a horizontal shimmering band (like heat-haze) across the terrain. Yeah, occasionally my guys will blaze away on full auto and completely ignore the cease fire commands, which is not good when trying to creep up on the enemy APC in the training mission.
