Ghost Recon on Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion) and later
ApexMods replied to ApexMods's topic in GR (PC) - Tech Support
Yes. Most mods come as an archived folder. Download, unpack, drop the folder into Ghost Recon/Mods, and activate in Options. Done. Details are in the wrapper’s readme. -
There's a neat comparison gallery to see the differences in image scaling algorithms.

Good to hear. How's the wrapper's performance with your new MBP, jtibbitt? Screaming along? -
Oh wow! Thanks mate, just a little over 21,000 to go to catch up with you. 😉 It's based on this, which you can find here. But if you want to go all-out, read this, and this, and then grab this.

Can someone please check if the downloads in the OP work again? Thanks. -
Retexturing in full force. My poor old Mac is sweating bullets due to AI upscaling’s huge performance demands. Don’t have a dedicated GPU, and just an old i5 CPU, so cannot use the best software and routines, as those would take hours for a single texture on my machine. It’s a compromise of smaller beautification at higher speed. Don’t like it too much that I cannot go all-in on this, but I guess it’s better than nothing. Dug up an even older Mac to work on other HU stuff while the other one is processing textures. 🙂

A big shout out to Eisenhauer, who‘s reported several errors that will be fixed for the next HU. Thanks a ton, buddy! Vielen Dank!

I know it‘s a code injector and a false positive scan. That’s not the point. The thing is, why would they break YEARS of old links over a single new file, instead of just disabling that single file?

Unbelievable. Dropbox have lost their mind. Details here. -
So, after linking to a Ghost Recon camera trainer, Dropbox decided that this is "malicious content" and... now hold on to your hats... has disabled ALL of my shared links that have been active for years (e.g. to GR mods here in the download section, various GR tools, etc. - about 3 Terabytes of data) and BANNED me from creating new links (they said the ban would last for 24 hours, but that was days ago). Dropbox sent me an email announcing this, with an embedded link to re-enable my sharing privileges. That link did not work at all ("There was a problem" message). I contacted customer sup

Looking into this now. -
"Richard's First Person Weapon Mod" (FPWV) 2014
ApexMods replied to Burner's topic in GR - General Mod Topics
Those are all the latest ones I know of and could my hands on. There are at least 2 more in the wild I could not find. Documentation is a bit meager, but I don’t use them so didn’t know better. -
You make one. 🙂

Same mission. Two different livestreams.

"Richard's First Person Weapon Mod" (FPWV) 2014

Edit: Link removed due to Dropbox being crap. More details here. -
Oh boy, what have I begun?!? Started super-scaling textures with various new AI driven software solutions. Amazing results. About 20 smaller maps done so far. May do them all. Total map texture budget grows by a factor of two to four.

Those days are over. They‘ve turned into Microsoft. Worthless junk. Same goes for YouTube and anything else they touch. Just needed to say this. /rant

There are hundreds, if not thousands of new map textures for existing maps in the next HU. Beautification is ongoing, so if you think a particular map is in desperate need of retexturing, please let me know. 🙂

To edit default team open mission in Igor > Edit > Mission > Default Team. To have default kits match up, make sure rifleman-01.kit (and other 01 kits) match the first kit in each actor’s kit folder. Spotting felt off in the first campaign mission (farm night), not sure about others. Don’t sweat it. This is a demo, after all. 🙂
