    if the objectives aren't shown on the map, than why have a map at all. There needs to be some way of pointing out where to go, otherwise people would spend all day running around in circles, and there is no fun in that

    I have only been playing mp for a short time, but have seen and participated in both ramboism type play and team style. When i first started i saw a lot of people running and gunning so i thought that was how it was done on mp. After dying a lot i started to follow around some of the guys who weren't getting killed all the time and watch them. I dont have team speak and cant type fast enough in game to chat, but there seems to be an un-spoken way of playing as a team. Just by manouvering correctly and covering others as they move in turn ensures that they do the same for you. I admit that my kills are down, but then so are the number of times i spawn too, which i see as being more important. I prefer team and my stats may not be great but, if i find you than i will kill you, and if i dont the guy next to or behind me will. One last thing, i prefer not to have respawns cause after the first you are stuffed from the campers any way, although not all people camp.

    until tonight i had never played mp :huh: , mainly 'cause i felt my rig wouldn't handle it (566 p3, 180 odd meg of pc133 ram, onboard 11m graphics and 56k) <_< . i decided to give it a go and to my suprise had no probs like lag etc.(it actally ran better than on sp). :) i had a few tk's :blink: but i also caused a few too :( . no one seemed to mind though :) . it was an enjoyable experience that i will be back for :D . any one that hasn't tried it, i strongly recommend giving it a go. cheers......

    1: download new video driver :)

    2: install new video driver :D

    3: find old driver and delete it :P

    4: old driver was infact new driver(it got rid of the old one) :blink:

    5: reinstall new driver :huh:

    6: restart and get no picture at all. :o

    I have on board graphics, so i had to install a 1984 vid card i had, restart and then reload all of the drivers for the onboard chip, take out the 1984 vid card and go through the "found new hardware" rubbish. Atleast it works again now.

    As people have already said, the friendly ai isn't always friendly :( . They can be very stupid for elite soldiers :blink: , and it really needs to be fixed. The problem is that i don't know if it can be modded at all. As for the enemy, the easiest way to make it harder for them to kill you and improve the duration of fire fights is to simply mod their weapons. Just by changing the guns accuracy, recoil, min pip offset and stab time you can achieve this. Mod the combat model to stop one shot kills from hits to the arms and legs, and all of a sudden the game becomes a bit more even. :)
