it's actually from the trance m4 mod, i wish i could model weapons

thought i would post some screenies of the skins i'll be using, the first is the basic ADF soldier uniform. made from different pics i found on the net. it's as close to real as i can get. the second is what the sasr "specialists" will be wearing, made using the camoflage plug in for photoshop. it's a custom jungle style skin for something different. anyone else got any input....

@egobirchy as i said, all skins are done aswell as the recalibrated weapons and stuff. all that is left is the scripting, which i have started. if i need some input or background info ill definately let you know. thanx for the support. cheers...... p.s it will be a campaing, just not sure how big yet

with australia's involvment starting in the solomon islands, i was toying with the idea of doing a 6-9 mission mod including new adf skins, re-scripted missions, re-calibrated weapons stats and new specialists, based on tis involvement. i was wondering if people would be interested in this mod or not. all of the work is done except for the mission scripting. there are not to many adf mods (except aus_vipers timor one ) around so i thought a change may be due. please post ALL input on this topic so i can guage whether it is worth my while or not. cheers......

yeh but its like, if the humvee gets shot out they pop, but if they get shot they um.... well they die . they are actually suposed to stay in the vehicle to induce/draw the enemy fire. its no biggy i guess, it just dosn't look right when they majically appear next to the vehicle

like everyone has said, don't waste the rounds on tk's. i have tk'd and have been tk'd, normally with a fast sry after it. the fact is it happens, and as long as people know you as a fair player the other guy will most likely get booted. i had one recently where i gimped a team mate accidently as he came up behind me so he killed me. i can handle that. after the game when he was complaining about it the other guys stuck up for me 'cause i've played there a bit and never tk on purpose. ( i think thats why they did )

no i haven't, i tried both of the above but they didn't work, the drivers still bail. i'll try the roe and see what happens cheers......

I have started scripting yesterday and have a problem ....i have two humvee's with drivers, but when they get shot at the driver jumps out on to the ground . is there any way to stop them from doing this? cheers......

To remove the yellow x hairs on the sniper rets change <WeaponMotionType>2</WeaponMotionType> to <WeaponMotionType>1</WeaponMotionType> Unfortunately this also removes the blacked out sniper view. This basically tells gr the gun is a normal rifle instead of a sniper rifle
