That IP is to a dedicated server that runs GR/DS/IT with the HX4 mod 24/7. AS long as you are patched to v1.4 and have DS/IT and HX4 you will be able to play on that server. You can connect to that IP at any time you want and play and no that server is not in anyway connected to Ubi.com. Likewise I also host games on my connection (tho not 24/7) without any mods. My IP changes (tho I have a DSL connection) so I post it when I put the server up.

As Ubi has started sending cease and desist orders too give up websites with the GR2 name (see news page) I would have to say there is a GR2 in the future.

Most weapon mods (but not all) are incompatible with each other. Other mods have to be patched to work with the 1.4 patch for GR. We have an extensive download section for mods that you will find pretty helpful.

Most everyone now is running GR with the DS and IT mission packs and are patched to v1.4. If you have installed DS and IT all you need to do is patch to v1.4 and you will be fine. The GR.net dedicated server has both mission packs installed with the HX4 mod installed. There is a link for it in the pinned topic in the games room.

Hey Rook, maybe we need to tie him up so he can't mess with his PC to bad. Stinger, all your tweaking has most likely corrupted something from the sounds of things and not just one or two files, I'm talking about a whole bunch of them. I would be looking at a reformat and resinstall. DirectX 8.1 is included on the XP installation disk. Sounds like some of the drivers for yoru modem/ethernet card are totally trashed now.

I have the N2k3 demo and run it without DX9 tho I do run the game in OpenGL verses D3D. You may try that DooDaa instead.

I actually want to redo it and complete the mission before we move on. I think we did pretty good. I was doing real well until I tried going in the door before the room was preped (someone really needs hand grenades for that and not a grenade launcher.) I think we have the potential to do them and complete them with few or no casualties.
