Name the new value MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server
Right-click the MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server value and choose Modify
Under Base, click the radio button next to Decimal
In the Value Data: box enter the number of simultaneous connections you want to set (for example 10 is a good value), and click OK
Repeat steps 3 - 7 using the new value MaxConnectionsPerServer
Exit the registry editor

Yes a dedicated server needs a vid card for the game. The read me even says that a dedicated server has to meet the same requirements as a regular PC.

I have answered the questions about RSE using the Unreal 2 engine before. RSE has a habit of building their own engines for games and not using a 3rd party engine for their work.
It is of my opinion that the unreal engine gives games an arcade feel and not really a sim feel.

Then it would not have that RSE feel. IMO Ubi messed up the R6 franchise when they used the Unreal 2 graphics engine.

With the 1.3.5.0 and 1.4 patches you can use either the original GR disk or the IT disk (Island Thunder.)

IIRC you have to have the mod for the replay to work. Do you have DS and IT also? Make sure you activate them before trying to watch it. Hopefully someone from Alpha Squad can clear this up for ya.

There should be a folder at C:\Program Files\ubi.com\Core that has the GS4 .exe in it along with the rest of the program. If you do not have that folder, go to Ubi.com adn try to join the GR lobby there and download the software when it says to. Failing that grab ASE or just join games listed here by direct IP.

There should be a Ubi.com folder in your program files folder that has the GS4 program in it.

This is a online gaming site not affilitated with Ubi-Soft I assume so to play I would just load GR with the HX4 Mod and version 1.4. Go to multiplayer and put in the IP addy IP 64.124.130.118.
This will connect me and show games available to join?
That IP is to a dedicated server that runs GR/DS/IT with the HX4 mod 24/7. AS long as you are patched to v1.4 and have DS/IT and HX4 you will be able to play on that server. You can connect to that IP at any time you want and play and no that server is not in anyway connected to Ubi.com.
Likewise I also host games on my connection (tho not 24/7) without any mods. My IP changes (tho I have a DSL connection) so I post it when I put the server up.

As Ubi has started sending cease and desist orders too give up websites with the GR2 name (see news page) I would have to say there is a GR2 in the future.

Most weapon mods (but not all) are incompatible with each other. Other mods have to be patched to work with the 1.4 patch for GR. We have an extensive download section for mods that you will find pretty helpful.

Most everyone now is running GR with the DS and IT mission packs and are patched to v1.4. If you have installed DS and IT all you need to do is patch to v1.4 and you will be fine. The GR.net dedicated server has both mission packs installed with the HX4 mod installed. There is a link for it in the pinned topic in the games room.
