So far Dale Jr. has been walking over everyone. He won the second Twin 125 qualifying race today (even though he didn't have to race today.) Will he take the 500? Will he win in the Busch race come Saturday too? Will Jr sweep speedweeks? I'm happy so far.

You may have to uninstall everything and then reisntall everything in order of release. Save the folder that is left after the uninstall to a different place on your hard drive that is left then reinstall the games. Once done replace the files from the left over folder back into the new folder (these files should be campaign and unlocked heros and such) to resume where you left off. Someone else may be able to answer this question better so hang on before going the extreme route I described.

All posts about GR2 using any engine is just speculation at this time. Not even those of us at GR.net has no idea what engine it will use. I am speculating based on RSE's previous record only.

RSE has always used an engine that they built for their games. Not once when the released a new game (as in from R6 to RS) did they use a 3rd party engine. Remember that RSE will develop GR2 and not Ubi. IMO if Raven Shield was being developed and built by RSE they would be using an engine of their own design and not the Unreal 2 engine. Ubi bought RSE so they could have the R6 franchise and have access to the popularuty of the Tom Clancy name. Ubi is develping Raven Shield and not RSE. Yes a dedicated server needs a vid card for the game. The read me even says that a dedicated server has to meet the same requirements as a regular PC.

I have answered the questions about RSE using the Unreal 2 engine before. RSE has a habit of building their own engines for games and not using a 3rd party engine for their work. It is of my opinion that the unreal engine gives games an arcade feel and not really a sim feel.

Then it would not have that RSE feel. IMO Ubi messed up the R6 franchise when they used the Unreal 2 graphics engine.

With the 1.3.5.0 and 1.4 patches you can use either the original GR disk or the IT disk (Island Thunder.)

IIRC you have to have the mod for the replay to work. Do you have DS and IT also? Make sure you activate them before trying to watch it. Hopefully someone from Alpha Squad can clear this up for ya.

Have you tried the link on the news page for it?

There should be a folder at C:\Program Files\ubi.com\Core that has the GS4 .exe in it along with the rest of the program. If you do not have that folder, go to Ubi.com adn try to join the GR lobby there and download the software when it says to. Failing that grab ASE or just join games listed here by direct IP.

I just set the server to interrogation for gameplay type. I am expecting a review of it by Hunter.

There should be a Ubi.com folder in your program files folder that has the GS4 program in it.

What operating system are both of you using? Are either of you using a router that you connect to the internet through?
