I visit another forum for the NASCAR racing series of games I play and found this nugget. I have to say I agree with him about this. Right on Poncho. I'm really getting tired of this whole mess. I am tired of "allies" who expect America to bear the cost of being the world leader, and then criticize it for doing so. I am tired of "allies" who accept our protection, and then accuse us of interfering. I am tired of the worst rogue state of the 20th century lecturing us on the morality of international relations. I am tired of two European countries with a history of losing war

What’s the most realistic game you’ve ever played…

Tho there is no story really, the NASCAR Racing series of games are the most realistic games I play. -
A restaurant in NC, enraged about the French lack of support for removing Saddam from power by means of an invasion and war, has decided to not call fries french fries any more. Freedom Fries is the new name at Cubbie's in Beaufort, NC. French

AGP is an Advanced Graphics Port and has a direct link to the CPU for better preformance. A PCI slot has to wait in line so to speak before it's information is sent.

Try the Splinter Cell site at Ubi for it.

Aggression banner here to, I hope there are more ads then just the ad for Disney that says winner and you pay $150 for the trip.

DS and IT are activated through the mods menu, but are expansion packs you have to by at the store. They work the same way as mods, but you have to puit the proper disk in the tray so the game will run where as a mod just installs from the download you made.

There are links to TS here on the forums and also on the TeamSpeak Report page in the Recon section. TS is free BTW.

On the router have you opened both TCP and UDP ports?

IIRC GPL was made by Papyrus like the NASCAR series. Though it hasn't been updated it still is going strong after all these years. N2k3 will be the same way even though another company is making games with the NASCAR name. EA Sports latest NASCAR title has the same play as their earlier versions and looks like a direct port from a console game.

Yes get that PC off the floor, tho the damage part sounds like a good idea. Y'all must be getting runoff from last weekends snow and this weekends rain from the sounds of things. I feel bad for ya.

Internet Connection and Win2K
WhiteKnight77 replied to WhiteKnight77's topic in Computer Discussions
Both of the NIC's are built in. The ASUS A27N8X Deluxe comes with a lot of things. I wonder if I will have to install an add-in card to see if that takes care of it. -
That guy has a point. Where would all these countries be if the US had not intervened. AFAIK there have only been serveral instances where the US has "kept" (for lack of a better word) a country as a spoil of war. Most of the "kids" nowadays seem to forget the history that they are taught, if they are taught it at all, about why they have such freedoms or ways of life. Long time ago France had been an ally and supposedly still is, but recent events have changed my mind on that, against England. Funny how the very same people that tried to put us down are our biggest ally now. Let's pul

What operating system are you and he using?

XP has a built in firewall that needs to be disabled too. On both both partied PCs.

It's been on the news here all day today. There is speculation that propane may have been used instead of the smaller electrically fired devices most places used. Though Great White states that they had permission to use them, the club owner says they didn't. Also other club owners in venues that Great White have played in recently have said they have used the pyrotechnics without permission tho they hadn't in Atlanta when they were here last month. Whose to say who is to blame right now. The investigation should tell us what went wrong.

Internet Connection and Win2K

It's not my ISP. It has only started doing this with the rebuild of my PC and installation of Win2000. I may try that little deal you said and see if that works. -
Need help installing the Bonus Map from the Demo
WhiteKnight77 replied to Deadeye's topic in GR (PC) - General Discussion
IIRC the 1.2.5.0 patch had it included with it. If you have DS the map will be installed for you and you will patch the game up to 1.2.10.0. Just install IT after that and patch to 1.4 afterwards. -
One thing you have to remember is the boutique PC makers like Alienware (tho now more mainstream and available in big box retail stores) Falcon-Northwest, and Voodoo is they also super tweak and overclock their machines to run as well as they do. That is one reason for their rather large price tag. That said, if I had the money for a one of the above, I would probably invest in one. They even will replace the parts under warranty if they fail from being overclocked as much as they do. Now if you do the same thing in your own homebuilt PC and a part fails, you have to ante up for the replaceme

Now if I can figure out how to put it in game to use with SP and not just MP.

There are some mods that you can play. They come in a .zip file verses a self installer. I am not sure which ones as I have only 2 mods installed and I don't even remember how they were packaged. If you ask in the mods forum too, people there can direct you to which mods come that way. Also if I host, I do not run mods so you can try my games when I have one up. You will need to have DS and IT expansion packs tho.

I'ts not that hard to set up really. There are 2 versions that most people use and if you do a search of the forums you will find links to both of them here.
