Open your options.xml file in notepad. Scroll down to where the IP's are located and remove them that way. Once done make sure you save as: "options.xml" with the quotation marks. If it won't let you save, find the file in the folder and open the properties and uncheck the read only box. Make sure you use notepad and not Word.

Are you using the Ubi.com version that came on the CD?

I have filters on my intake fans. You can find filters at local PC parts shops. The ones I got, I picked up at a PC show that was in town. If you want to make up some real easy, go to the local pet store, heck a Super Wal-Mart may even have a pet department, that sells fish tank supplies. Get the Whisper style of filter that you add the charcol to and get fan grilles from CompUsa and cut the filter material to size and install the parts over the intake ports of your PC.

There is a big difference in how you command between R6/RS and GR. The first thing to remember in GR is to take it slow. Set your guys to recon ROE and just plot out short routes at first to a particular area. Right click to set a firing arc aimed at the area you want them to cover. Use the bounding cover movement method where you cover your teams movement. With Recon ROE your teams will halt when the come into enemy contact. I really like the dirty windshield. I tried both the fast and jasper set-ups but they are way to loose for me. I could probably work on tightening them up easier, but with the tight set-up easy has, I figure that it would be easier to free the car up from there.

Did you patch GR? If so, that is part of the problem. See my post in this thread about what to do.

Have you contacted your ISP to see if they have changed any settings? has the phone company changed any settings (I had this happen to me tho I could not connect, both said they could see my PC and/or no problems with the line. Turns out the phone company changed something and my ISP had to walk me through with changing a setting in the modem.)
