I have always maintained that if I could, I would buy a Falcon Northwest or a Voodoo. Now that Voodoo is owned by HP, the only boutique PC builder I would recommend is FW.

Ubi announces new WWII RTS game "R.U.S.E"
WhiteKnight77 replied to Pave Low's topic in Strategy Games (RTS & TBS)
I finally watched the trailer. I am not impressed one bit. While the scenery looks pretty good, once you zoom out, you get those crazy icons/markers that Ubi introduced with GR2. I didn't see the player click on unit actually to order anything. Then the zero showed up on the left side of the screen ala GRAW. I do not see anything special about this game. At least it does not have the TC name on it. -
I had to go downtown Monday so I took a walk over to Centennial Olympic Park and took a few pics. My sis, bro and I went in on buying a brick for our parents. This is like the second time I have seen it (the first was an On The Bricks concert back in 2004) and the folks have never seen it though they have a copy of it at home. Another pic is of the Westin Hotel that was damaged by an EF2 tornado that grew to 200 yards wide that hit downtown Atlanta last March.

Right. And Florida is known for snow skiing. This statement got a smirk from me as I thought, "yeah, right." Your post got a real laugh out of me. -
Happy birthday HF.

Very interesting.

It's not just GR, it's many other Ubi games too that Ubi shut the servers down. Some of the games are recent releases too from what I see. Way to support your games Ubi. Here is some of the change Ubi was talking about some 15 months ago.

I did try to do that last fall. Newegg didn't have some of the parts I was after at that time when I was pricing parts out to build it myself. This time I decided to just buy one, even if just a bang for the buck version, which can be upgraded later if need be.

Sorry to hear about your loss of a loved pet. I've been there a few times myself over the years. It is one of the reasons I wont own another.

Normally I would, but I have been wanting a Mach V for some time now and now I have the funds, finally.

OK, here is my config for a new PC. What do y'all think? This is a bang for the buck Mach V from Falcon Northwest with a couple of changes. War Games. JoshuaOneSix got it right. I also posted this over at BFS and expected Led to post the right answer here after it was revealed over there.

Sorry Para, no it is neither.

Good Luck.

Ya don't really notice it coming from above you. Think of it like being in a movie theater, the speakers are above your ears there.

I don't know why anyone hasn't thought or posted about RAD Game Tools. The have a free converter available.

They are pretty sturdy. The funny thing is, the way mine were packaged in the box. The bottom shelf was propped up by 2 pieces of scrap and cracked in the middle. I was able to tie them together mind you, it's just that they need to package them so they don't crack. Hard to replace them at midnight. Not that heavy, until you get all the shelves in them. I put shims under the base near the front to tilt the cases back (compensates for the shim the carpet is attatched to). If one has hardwood floors, bookcases would not need to be tilted or secured to the wall. My video games are on my comput

After returning home from a job up in Virginia and buying all sorts of books (37) and CDs (147), I found that I had no place to put them so it was off to IKEA and bought this setup: And for Led, I even bought a package of their Swedish meatballs.
