Not sure, but the only branch or military that I know of that flies the CH-53E is the US Marines. If so, then American.

Anyone else find this familar?
WhiteKnight77 replied to NoQuarter's topic in Arma 2 & OA - General Discussion
I wonder if the makers of ArmA2 know that it has already been featured in a PC game? -
Back when GR came out, many of us noticed lag when lots of noise was being generated. It had been determined then that onboard audio solutions were not cutting it and having a dedicated sound card to off load audio processing from the CPU was the way to go. If anyone is still having sound issues, pick up a dedicated sound card and start enjoying much more sounds that GR has to offer too.

When did you first play [GR] ? Fondest memories
WhiteKnight77 replied to Clone_Ranger's topic in GR (PC) - General Discussion
I guess I got it the weekend after it's release and played it on my 500mHz Celeron Gateway PC that was my very first PC. -
It should be right up your alley for a flight sim (?) on the X360. Many though are wondering how close it will follow the PC version of the iL2 franchise.

Happy birthday Deleyt!!!

I take it you have seen the Birds of Prey screens and vids right?

When I get some time at home on the weekends, I will have to host some GR games again. When I do, drop in.

I can tell you that my PC is really quiet, even with stock cooling. I can't wait to try video encoding (or decoding ) to see how it handles it. That will be the real test. Maybe I need to post some of my testing specs. I think it's in a PDF somewhere.

Yeah, I am am sure I am gonna go with a 20-22" LCD. I have tried GR (everything on high) and it appears locked at 60 which the monitor was set at and I have upped it to 85 at 1280x1024 for my normal viewing. I can't remember what GR is set at, somewhere around the same though. I have some FSX (everything on high) time and some SC time and some Falcon 4.0. Homeworld2 runs a bit slow for some odd reason, maybe a hardware issue as I got a warning about it. I will have some tweaking to get What really bites is I got the PC on a Wednesday and Saturday morning I was on the way to a job tha

The fan in the front is a 120mm Silverstone (at least that is what is on the tag). There are 2 80mm fans on the rear for exhaust. There is also a place on the top for another 120mm fan. This thing is really quite, even with the 80mm fans.

Did you see Cat VS. Pigeon? I think both are funny.

Everything in this PC is SATA and PCIe. I can't use anything from my old PC in my new one for now.

Falcon Fuel is coffee. I do not even drink coffee. LOL This thing is way better. My old system is an AMD Athlon 3200+ XP with 1GB of RAM and a 7600 GS video card that wont even boot up right now for some reason. I need to pull a couple of drives to get files from them and put them in the new one until I can figure out why it will not boot.

Yeah, I know. I was wanting to let him know how far off he would be at a farther distance with that particular group. Amma does make a difference and since he got said group with cheap ammo, he did a pretty good job for that distance. It's all good.

OK, here they are, pics of my new PC and goodies. The box the PC comes in his huge at 36"x26"X17", but it has 2 inches of space around the sides of the PC and it sits between some strong polymer between the top and bottom pieces. It also comes with a goodie box that includes a kit for the extra cables for the PSU from Silverstone. FN includes a portfolio with a pen that lights up, manuals for the hardware, driver disks for the hardware, Windows Vista Home Premium x64 disk, a print out of how well the PC tested out, adapters for the video card along with the SLi bridge,

Happy Birthday Wiking.

In his first test, yeah, he is a bit off, but not too bad. Still, even so, at 200 yards, he would be an inch to 2 inches off, at least on that target except for the one round he did put dead center. Without knowing which sequence he shot the rounds, we can't give him too much grief.

Yeah, and at 500 meters! ED, ya have to remember, we did that as a part of our normal training. Granted, my groupings at 500 yards (we didn't do meters at the ranges I qualified on) were not as good as some, but I could put rounds inside a 12" marking spot used on the 500 yard silhoutte.
