    Go away for a few mins and 3new news pieces lol :o. 500mb, sheesh, I only have 5GB left on my hard drive :lol:. Hmm...5mods, 5gb :(. Guess I better start backing some stuff onto a CD to free some space :D. Sucks having a 20GB hard drive <_<.

    500mb? Doesn't that mean its about the seem size as the official expansion packs :o. Not looking forward to dling that 200gb file lol, only got a 128k broadband connection.

    Still, looks like this is going to be the best mod yet. :D

    Edit: Oh just read the installation bit. Need IT, dang.

    Well mine comes from one of my favourite games, Kingdom Hearts. Its the name of my fave character (Look at avatar). Also its a name of a character from my fave gaming series, Final Fantasy, 'cept her name is spelt Rikku.

    Hey chems, will the legs aand hurt the troopers like in the splash? and can i get a beta copy to test as well?  :o=  :o= And is there really a TV series? i haven't seen it! :o

    Yup, the T.V series is on Sky One (Or use to be, I haven't seen it in a while might have changed to a dif time slot...), its really good. Couple people die, new colonel :lol:. Earth gets invaded :o, and lots of other stuff happens in the series. I don't know wether its set before or after the movie since I've only seen the series on T.V.

    That will be a neat feature if they do attack u with there lags as well as the acidy stuff. :D

    The movie is X-men United.  The sequel to X-men..... d'oh! It's out in theaters now and has been out about 2 weeks.

    The "new" charactor in this movie is Nightcrawler!  Very interesting tatoos. ;)

    :blink: So its not actually him? Its what his nickname is from/some one in the movie with that name? Or is it actually him acting in it? I'm still a bit confused lol... :unsure:

    Man, stop teasing me lol :lol:. I'm getting really excited about this mod now. Although I'm not a modder so I don't notice little things to do with texture ect...It looks very tasty so far though! :D Keep up the good work. ;)

    Is it going to be a campaign? Or quick mission? Just wondering because I like to play campaigns. :rolleyes:

    I think that's the ones that I was referring to, you got MSN running ... shut it down

    :huh: When u get a message from someone on MSN, it doesn't have an "Ok" button. Plus to send u a message over msn the other person would need ur e-mail address. But if it is MSN message then just block the person who's sending the message. Also u need MSN to be installed, and to be signed in to be getting messages over msn in the first place.

    To me it sounds like the type of pop u get when an error's occured ect, or stuff like that...

    The bugs are looking great :). That pic looks like something that would happens in the T.V series (Haven't seen movie :(). The bugs tend to get really close to the troops sometimes, before the troops blow them up, or get thumped by the bug...

    Will the bugs ever get that close in the final version? Guess they wont since they will most likely be shot before they have chance.

    About how they die. In the T.V series, they tend to carry on going if they get shot in any of there limbs, does this mean u'll be making it so they take a lot of shots to their limbs before croaking? :D Hope so. :P

    lots of great mods are released all the time, the only major problem is that NOBODY uses them !!!

    trying to play online with the newest mod is impossbile., so it seems to me that peoples hard work just goes to waste.

    take a look at the unreal recon mod, very very well done but nobody plays with it. 

    look at some of the excellent maps that have been done; Ossetian Woodlands, Bunkers, Downtown Somalia....again, nobody plays with them.

    IDF (Israeli Defense Forces) mod was great, never ever seen anybody playing with it.

    I play all the mods I dl often, and know a lot of other ppl who do. But I see what u mean in saying that mods would benifit from being good MP maps too. But if its based around the Fort map then it should be brilliant for co-op MP if I remember it right.

    Can't wait to use the nuke :D. Any idea on how ur going to use the retrival boat?

    Since this is about WMP9 I thought I'd post my problem here since ur has been solved :D, instead of starting a whole new thread. Ok, recently my computer kind of restored it self back to the way it was a few months ago, as if I had ran system restore. When this happened ALOT of programs stopped working, but all I had to do was uninstall them then reinstall them. Except WMP9.

    Now when ever I try to run it I get an error saying: "An internal application error has occured". I can't uninstall it because its not in the remove programs list, nor could I find it in my system registery (:wacko:). When ever I try to reinstall it, it says: "A previous installation has been detected." and doesn't install. Any help pls? I've had no problems in the past with WMP.

    Also when my system got resotred (Don't know how, my mam said she came on and clicked yes to a message that came up, with out even reading it.) IE got downgraded, when ever I try to reinstall it, I get a message saying: "Ap revious installation of Internet Explorer 6 has been detected". :( Any help pls....

    I kind of new I couldn't keep it, but worth asking some forums they let me off lol (Though I'm well known on those). Oh well I'll get it removed (gets to small when I resize) I'll just make a new one within the limits. ;)

    Thanks guys. I have tried a few creative labs mice before, and found them very comfy to the hand, so I'll probably go for that one. I'll be going out tomorrow so I'll be looking in various PC shops to see if there’s any to my liking. Though I think I'll most probably be buying that creative labs one. :)

    Ok, my current mouse is getting old, and even cleaning it out dosn't really help any more. So I was thinking of buying a new optical mouse (one of them ones that doesn't have the mouse ball, not sure wether "optical" was the right word).

    I found one at gameplay (my favourite gaming shop) but I'm not to sure about it, because its only £18. But its got a pretty good description. Also there was this one.

    Don't be reccomending ones just because there the dearest lol :lol: only looking for ones that are worth the money.

    Dang. Its 84pixels to tall, u should post these restrictions in the general discussion forum, as this is my first time visiting this one. So does this mean I have to remove/resize my sig image?
