  1. Why? 'Cause. D70, kit lens.

Content to stick with socket939, prelim tests don't show much improvement in 940, would have to wait on Shuttle/software. Solid on the case/ 7900, but not brand / X2, but not speed / monitor. Curious if there's comparible ram for cheaper. There's so much more gobbledegook since the last time I bought ram straight-up... 4MB for $150. Can't really find if the extra 512k L2 cache per core is worth the premium paid with regards to the processor. No overclocking.
  3. http://www.wordsmith.org/anagram Spits out a lot of chaff, but there are some diamonds in it. From my actual name: FLASHER ICON RACHEL OF SIN HERNIAS FLOC REAL CON FISH HALF ERIC SON NACHO RIFLES AFRO LICHENS CARL HOE FINS Funny, the only Rachel I know is extremely buttoned-down...
  4. That's a high school?! Good lord.
  5. It's a 325. There will be no bodykits or shopping cart handles attatched to it at any time whatsoever. Easy with the Haterade, Mike, sheesh I had it checked out by my mechanic, and he labeled it pristine. So far, the only thing that looks like it will need replaced are the tires. It wasn't stolen, but it wasn't far from it. I got a very good deal. 01' 325Ci, with just over 37k miles. It's got the auto-stick, but in execution, it's kinda silly. There's about a one-second lag between hitting the stick, and the shift. And with gas at it's current price, I've taken pains to avoid thrashing the engine. Put $48 worth of regular in on Friday. Bleh. Word on the '06s, by the way.
  6. DS - No Sonics locally, but Hardee's/ Carl's Jr has a Spicy BBQ burger with fried jalapenos that looks promising. Doesn't look like I'm going to be able to wait for a Solstice. Found a pristine '01 BMW 325ci, which should be mine next Saturday. Crim - Was going to Hawaii, but that fizzled out. Possibly next year. Been working a lot. New position, $1.90 raise, 69 hr week. School starting again this week. Time to restart the School-Work-Sleep Exhaustion Sweepstakes.
  7. Especially with bacon. Splendiferous.
  8. Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Parts VI - IX) -- Pink Floyd
  9. Queens of the Stone Age - (You Think I Ain't Worth A Dollar, But I Feel Like A) Millionaire
  10. Solstice Forum is the largest source of unofficial information I've found. Dick - How many of the brochures you've got shots of are available to the public, and how many are dealer-only materials? I want something to drool over whilst away from my computer.
  11. Second the A-5. It's bitchin'
  12. They asked everyone else, and they all declined. You get to be the junior assistant interim supervisor.
  13. National Association of Spurious Car Awful Racing
  14. Euchre on breaks and lunch at work, Hold'em on Thursdays after work
  15. Listening to, and reading are two seperate things. 'Least for me. I don't hear my own voice reading, I watch the action. And yeah, for real money. $5 buy-in. Once the fiver is gone, I'm done. Except I was playing with my last five of pocket money. D'oh.
  16. Finished Trainspotting Wednesday. Didnae ken the language for half the book, likesay? Y'all talk funny. Out of books to read. Trying to track down Fight Club, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, and House of Leaves. And out of pocket money due to poker. Stupid stupid poker.
  17. Ahem... never trust anyone who prefers cats over dogs. That is all. :
  18. Recently - The Devil in the White City by Erik Larson. It's history, but it reads like a novel. Subject is two men in late 1800's Chicago. One was the architect of the World's Fair, the other was America's first recorded serial killer. Fascinating stuff. Yesterday (as in, started and finished within the period of conciousness prior to this one. My 'days' are kinda funky) Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk, the guy who wrote Fight Club. The misadventures of a runway model (minus her lower jaw), a pre-op tranny, and Signore Alfa Romeo. Funny, with a prevailing sense of "###### was that?" Currently - Survivor, again, by Chuck Palahniuk.
  19. Saint, you rock. Looking like May, as I don't have my ducks in a row yet.
