  3. Yeah .. we play the last Version (1.4) on aktive WAN-Server with three Soldiers .. No Mod o.s.s. .. DAMN .. what .. You should try to see the mines @ 1680x1050.. So - i think we catch EVERY mine on the f#### way to Adat-A. And why must we see EVERY Target on the Mission if we only can go ONE way? It was so boring that we decide to break up after some Targets .. The Design and AI is very good and funktional .. (can be more AI) .. No Errors, no Crashes .. but that dont compensate the rest ... .. Greets .. Twix .. @only a point for all : Did someone of you did your job in the army !?! So ...than, in the theory, you know how to place mines taktical and that no Fireteam-Team get more than 3 targets @ same time. We are NOT a Platoon or Company .. (ok, sometimes looks like after we were in Target-Zone.. )

  6. Ok .. here we go ... Akive WAN-Server with 2 Players Version 1.5 After Checkpoint 8 (the first Tower on Bridge) my friend get the following Error, and can't re-join.   7. @Bogie Aha .. and wich fault is that ? The fault of the Scripter or the people that knew the hole level "in and out" and can't follow Commands like a Marine? :D
  8. So .. We played the map on aktive middle-range WAN-Server with 2 People on standard wapons-kit. First - No Crashes, - No Lag (always 25-65 Frames (Fraps)) - No Glitches found (but not search for them) We Follow the way the Author wants .. Had no Problems with first Tank. He just want to play .. so we ignore him an follow the way up .. After destroy the first ADAT we took the same notice Bogie sayd. The Enemy's seems sometime to make a Picnic and dont notice us. The Heli-Attack seems hard to finish but we destroy them easily (dont want to tell how) First we didnt notice that we always HAVE Zeus (MPAR) with us (so @Bogie there is no Prob with that) but than, the last Tank was easy. After that, this was the ONLY point the Frames go down (under 25 Frames).. Very nice map !!! Snipers and "Viewing Range" of the the Enemy's is very good ... .. Greets .. Twix ..
  9. I dont think its a good idea to hype the american, puritan fear of the "other" in a Game like GRAW-2. But you're right .. we need more places and Enemy's. But i think this should be fictive .. .. Greets .. Twix ..
  10. Ok .. here we go .. Just tested the DM Map "Green Berret" on my aktive Wan-Server with 2-3 People .. No Problems with Framerate .. set all to high with 80 - 180 Frames ... Porterslug got 45-55 Frames with a littel lower PC .. so nice Gameplay .. After a while the map crashes .. (dont copy the Error) .. So .. did you have a "clean" map WITH overworked Lightmaps for the next step of testing (finding the Frames-Killer)? .. Greets ... Twix ..
  11. What Porterslug forgot .. Some of the Hostages shoot at us .. so .. we killed them. That was good for us .. but not good for the Mission ) .. greets .. TWix ..
  12. Ok .. now i/we test the new 1.3 . 3 Ghost on my (see Hardware on top (4Gigs RAM)) Aktive-WAN-Server. No chance to get a average Frame-Rate (23-14).. (see FRAPS Framerate on left upper corner) Ok .. then i kicked the two other player .. (for test) - no difference .. Ok .. then everyone play at LoneWolf on his own PC .. . - no difference .. Ok .. then i minimized the Grafik-Settings .. - no difference .. IMO maybe i think its a Problem with the GRAW-2 Engine or maybe the original level design (cause got 30 frames in Menu / i.e. @ Bogies Level 349 Frames)... or my old oppinion .. too many spawns at same time. Whats the name of the Level? (i want to check the frames in DM) We never had the Problem that the enemys dont shoot or reakt (in no Version). .. Greets .. Twix ..
  13. I think to remember that 13 Spawns at the same time are the maximum .. (from the orginal) Got a Athlon X2 6000@ 3200 Mhz and a GF 9800 GTX+ an got 23-14 Frames .. so thats not playable .. Did not stripped the bundle .. but i think maybe there some ag_ things in it .. ?? .. Greets .. Twix ..

  16. Nice Map .. Maybe one Tip to Work-Over (Speed-Up).... It seems that there are some ag_ (agia physX) elements in the map or more than 13 enemies spawn at the same time .. So thats slow down my System that my Partner have a Ping higher than 250 (unplayable for him) But a very nice map with great mission and Story .. !!! .. Greets .. Twix ..

  18. So, at this time of the build of the map ... i say it likely .. it is not so good .. The Enemy's shoot you befor you can see them.. (specialy in the corner of the island) ... they shoot you around 1,5 miles (same problem i have on my map) .. they shoot you behind rocks and sand a.s.o. a.s.o ..   23. @AJ59 You are right .. sometime u love to edit and sometimes it makes you to hate the f@** sh** he he :D Ok, here we go .. i had the same Problems that the AI-Graph of some Vehicle seems not connected It seems to predicate on certain conditions: 1. the snapping - Sometimes the "points" dosn't snap on the right high on the ground 2. the ground itselve - you cant go over a hill edge only with two "points". So you must set a point directly at the edge .. 3. the vehicle dimension (its only a suspicion) - if the way of the vehicle is not wide enought, (and that must be only at one point) so that the vehicle can pass throu, the AI-Graph wont connect .. So @ my map i must try and try and try .. .. Greets .. Twix .. P.s. all AI-Graph must connected together .. (i dont know if that always right for vehicle AI-Graph, but i "make it so")
  24. Ok thnx AJ59 & Davros .. For 1. my idea is that the player can't see (over) the hole Level and maybe dont walk across like he want .. so maybe the Builder of the map have more leadership what (wich?) way the Player go... And 2. I got really problems that the human shoot me at a mile .. Maybe i post this map for you when the first steps are ready ... then you will see what i mean (spawn = dead :D) Maybe someday, someone add a example sb_global.xml to the wiki I think i'm not the only one to have these trouble :D .. So .. my "Work-Around-Wiki"-Map works fine .. got some objekt, some human that patrol, some pandhards that comes in the figth .. and after @davros helped me .. i found the "and", "or", "none" funktion :D (Thnx for that ) .. So i have two questions .. 1. Can i reduce the viewing range of the player AND will that increase the performance? If yea? how? 2. How can i reduce the attack, viewing-range of the humans ? and will that involve all humans (also Sniper?) I found the variables GRING_Wolfsong postet http://www.ghostrecon.net/forums/index.php...48775&st=15 (on post #25) but i did not understand in wich file i edit this .. (i dont have some of the files named i the thread) ... Greats .. Twix .. P.s. If there is a idiot-secure method for question 2.. i think, this schould be in Wiki .. In some Point like "Fine Tuning" ...
