It's a sign!

I´ve seen three god suggestions here:
1: The prison in the rock (Jesus, would be some really good CQB, but how do you tackle ladders?)
2: Navy Seals, when they go in after the downed airmen... Classic GR. (But please ad a "If you kill more than 4 guards before the hostages are in sight, the mission will be fail" (like in the AVA-Libyan MOD)
3: Rules of engagement: That wouldn´t be as overworked as BlackHawk Down is right now, so it would be cool.
But what if you created a Blackhawk Down Campiagn of seven oreight missions, where we follow the different soldiers during different paces of the movie.
What do you think?
Tollen,
I think your choices are great but considering it done as a "Blackhawk Down" campaign, I think is a mistake. Back before the site was hacked, the concept of developing a campaign based on "Blackhawk Down" was not considered out of respect to those who were involved.
I mean no offense at your suggestion but we should stay away from similarities to "Blackhawk Down" out of a rememberance of those who lost their lives there and the families they left behind! OK?

no movies, real life places. i'd like to see an entire campaign based on terrorist activities in major urban settings. this would be a MASSIVE map modding effort cos the point would be to replicate very popular landmarks in major cities around the world. examples would include perhaps piccadilly square in london, wall street in new york, etc etc. again, the key would be to have people who know the places very well and can attest to its visual accuracy.
I agree with you, Ronin! Such a campaign mod would be excellent.
All I was trying to do with this thread is generate unique ideas based off the vast movie database that is out there. I enjoy the movies but the aspect of playing GR based on the layouts from the movies, just sound enticing!
My meger mapping and modding skills have a long way to come before I could tackle some of the ideas presented in the thread. But with the community's vast range of talent, some of the areas could become playable maps just because we sparked an interest!

Since I have started coming to this site and seeing what creative individuals are here, it has made my GR sessions that much more enjoyable!
BTW, another movie suggestion would be:
Camp 2 Niner Savoy from Green Berets - Defending the camp!

Outstanding work, Earl and great detail! My compliments!

EL Oso, I concur that I will look forward to downloading this as well. The screen shots look great and the detail excellent.
Curious? Will this be available in multiplayer?

Great work by everyone!

Ronin,
I finally saw your movie and my compliments on a uniquely designed film! I have been experimenting with flash and just got my hands on a copy of Flash MX which is a bit more easier that Flash 5.0. So, I will be playing around with a few ideas and you may see something from me soon!

Thanks for the encouragement and the offer of assitance!
