  2. I have detailed images and maps of the real Alcatraz from my visit there in 2001. I could look them out and try to help with the design. The only problem is that "The Rock"'s version of Alcatraz and the real Alcatraz are very different places...

I was very dissappointed when I found the real morgue, real shower room and saw the real lighthouse :(

    Pyro_Monty,

Is there any chance you could put those images and maps into digital format, so they could be shared with the community? That way we may end up with a "Rock" map? :D

  3. Let's see...

    Glock 17 9mm w/hi cap mags

Glock 26 9mm for concealed carry

Springfield alloy frame 1911 w/Crimsontrace lasergrips

Bushmaster AR-15a2 w/m4 barrel in LE configuration w/c-more sight, tac-sling, magazine pouch on stock and set up w/ mount for M6 taclight/laser...heh heh (also, has urban camo paint job) I'll post pics when I get my digital camera back...

Trying to fanagle my way into a G36k...

Nice listing! Don't blame you on the G36, nice weapon!

  4. Have you ever considered playing?  I have an MP5 SD5 and a MK23 Socom.  I am in the process of putting together a M4 Sopmod.   One of the neat things about Airsoft is the ability to customize weaponary. :D

How much did those weapons cost necron? im considering buying some more, when i can find the money

They vary in price and my team leader owns a Airsoft dealership. Here is the link to the site:

    Valkyrie Air

He is very reasonable on his prices and also does custom work. :D

  5. 1st Dan Black Belt Japan Karate Association (Europe). I coach a class twice a week, and as some of you know, need to start taking my own advice with some basic aspects.

    :stupid:

So, that is what happen to your finger!

  6. Are you into Airsoft?  or do you just own a rifle?

Nope, just own one. I enjoy ripping cans to pieces on posts 50 yards away and long walks in the park. :):P

We had an electrical post in our front yard that was about 50 er so yards from the garage. So I'd mount next to the post in the garage (that divided our two doors) and take my best shot. :hehe: It's fun. Unfortunaley now I live in town, so I can't even get a good 20+ yard shot. Sheesh

But I could use my pistol.

  7. Never heard of Shao-Lin Do what is that style like?

Shao-Lin Do home website is here:

    Shao-Lin Do

I studied under sifu Bob Green who's sifu was Grandmaster Sin Kwang The'

The system is based on Shao-Lin Kung Fu but adopted the karate belt system to provide Americans a level of accomplishment. The style's true level of accomplishment is based on one's own skill. I obtained the rank of 1st Dan.

  8. There. Just my 2c, disagree at your leisure.

As for movie suggestions, how about Planet of the Apes (Fighting side by side with gun-nut par excellence Chuck Heston against an army of gun toting primates! Woohoo!)

Actually, it's not a problem at all. After discussion with some of the other consultants and staff, it was agreed that if real names are not used and direct references, that it would not be an issue. Also in the past, discussion about BHD got a bit out of hand and as long as that does not occur, this issue in moot.

On your other suggestion about "Planet of the Ape", I was think how cool it would be to skin the bad guys to look like apes and create a mod based on the movie! It would be KEWL!

  9. necron, flash mx rocks. at first, it seems like a lot of frivolous eye candy (ala windows xp) but you begin to notice how much they streamlined a lot of stuff. for starters, moving things between the mx suite (dreamweaver, fireworks and flash) is about as seamless as it can get. theres also some extremely powerful action scripting introduced in mx -- video clip control, better management of real time events, etc. none of which i've any idea to use haha.

    Ronin,

Great work on Sgt. Slaughter and KillaManila sigs. As always, WOW! :o

Haven't had much chance to play with Flash MX, so I will let you know when I start experimenting!

  10. actually, you're pretty darn close.

didnt work on mci's "reorganization" but i did work on another deal where i saw that company and sprint go at each other's throats to do a buyout of a tiny fledgling wireless company.  its almost as cool as watching a street-fight.  little company (dubbed "project mighty mouse") stock went from 8 cents to $15.00 in 1 week!!

OUCH!!! :o That's a good increase in a stock! You would have to mention SPRINT - That's who I work for!

  11. Mods depend on the individual's personal taste. I was a big fan of Navy Seal v2.0 but when SPV4 came out, I like the kits that I found in that mod. Saving Pilot Ryan and Postcards from Peru I enjoyed due to the creative scripting and I am always up for new Maps!

So when it comes to Mods it depends on your preference!
