A friend of mine's boss owned a server using the same sharing facility for a few websites. One time they realised the space was being used up dramaticaly and once he sniffed about someone had hacked it got in and stored 2 gig of mp3's of albums on it for sharing ... cheeky buggers! Let it be said it got sorted and .... well (cough) ... his boss had alot of albums.

Ello, Just to Rocky and Moderators. I see that the quick view list for latest mods on the front news page isnt as up to date as it once was, or am i mental and nothings been out for a while? Anywho ... I may be the only nerd to pick on this but I always use that for quick ref and its very usefull indeed. Any chance to update it to current releases etc? (Im sure Moderators will slap me for picking on such a small thing ) Cheers. PS - the crimbo graphic header is now officialy out of date (slapped once more )

How many viruses do you get a week then Rocky? Also .. did you go for that ###### extension offer? Or did you save the money to purchase the low cost botox (if thats how you spell "it") treatment? If I actualy bought into every spam mail i get I would have damaged my bits, had a skin graft, purchased a small vietnamese boy, recieved viagra by the shed load, had a face like a puched fish with treatment, looked like a half baked ladyboy .. spent all my cash on scams, had my entire identity spread to most of the world with friendly trojans, won first prize in everything and got nothing ...

Time will tell. Will be interesting to watch what later merges and takeovers will result in. I would assume it to be total domination of games market ready to unleash subliminals and propaganda style dead-head games to "get them when they are young" ... sometimes its worth checking out the CEO's and shareholders backgrounds and dealings to get the better picture. On my life I rack my brains trying to remember what I first ever grabbed from this site for GR1 back in 2001 .. I think it was just the mission ulocker files for original campaign, though I canny be sure .. hmmm ... Well anywho .... I love talking about old times, so to get the ball rollin, if you can remember what was your first thing you downloaded from this fine website back in the day? ..

I realy do hope so, especialy the info feeding back for PC GR1ers playing xbox and sounding none too impressed in "certain" areas.

A rollercoaster ride ths one, im up, im down, excited, questioning, looking forward, cautious, saddened, synical, positive .. & repeat .... It does all seem to be action over tactics, quite simply - tactics is why I got GR, no tactics much in GR2 = rent and do not buy when it arrives .. if its a bag of non-thinking cack then good I never paid. If it holds its own for what it is and what it holds works enough for me I will shell out for it. I have a feeling this game will end up being my online GR while GR1 will firmly stay as my SP GR.

Tiz all a bit touchy touchy so its not suprising to some degree. I realy cant see that S. Korea will be GR2 free just because of that offical stance - if you get me.

IGN's view : Could this then say to us that this will be best as MP play than SP? Who knows. All i know is Serellan is reading this thread as i type - hello there sir!! Yeh combo of old and new command system (as an option in preferences) would be excelent - sort of GR1 interface / GR2 Interface toggle ...

hehe, basicly ... forget it and get it back to GR1 but with new engine / sound / graphics of GR2 ..... Its true that in the end they should realy still keep the ordering system of GR1 somewhat intact, I mean its been made more SP freindly to keep Xboxers happy so keep PC'ers happy too with a choice of order system before entering mission.

This is a good thread & point to bring up. Everything looks superb apart from the tactical side as detailed already. Layering commands as stig explains would certainly bring things back to tactics more. I do love GR1's style with clicking the map and sending them very far (if need be) ... It would be good to have something along the lines of grid ref to pass to AI team mates to move to. It would certainly be much to the linking of many PC older crowd to retain some sort of flexible order system that uses the map area more openly than only pointing to what you can see in your view at the

I havent, thats why it plays tricks on your mind when "tactical" doesnt get used, nothing major just a minor winge on my part. Also lets hope that in the end the xbox users were the beta testers after all ... HERE - Im not starting a hate xbox campaign - I was just suprised about this thread when I was wandering the UBI forum (all be it a bit OTT on certain points made in this thread link). Lets hope the mention of reworking MP etc for PC includes such things as making it fluent in the menu's ...

From one of the reviews from the news page (IGN) - I cant help but squirm when this is said ... I dunno, its console heads speak - I hope/assume. I want atleast "3rd person tactical shooter" ..... Im jumping too soon, sorry but I read the review and that made me cringe a touch.
