Not sure what you mean i said "finest". Though its not PI but a great story mixed with his "thing" that can only be described as keeps you watching and working it out even after the film. If you know what hes about ... basicly he's done it right again. All I know is he has his head firmly in places such as 2012 Mayans and all that area, he pulls this off in this film very well and although you could say blatant .. its done without being too obvious. It goes to places Apocolypto wont, put it that way (Mayan ref). Yeh PI was superb, I remember watching that at a friends on DVD .. knew n

http://thefountainmovie.warnerbros.com/ Awesome film. Darren Oronofsky (Requiem for a dream & PI) pull's it of perfectly with this film. Some may not get it and other might, but the best thing to explain is "Mayan Callendar & 2012" (google)

RIP to Mr Brown, although I would say to "him as he was" not as he was in recent years (musicaly). Not sure if anyone in UK watched the BBC proms thing and James Brown was on it. I watched it and I was completely suprised how poor it was. Like watching some old man doing a cover band of James Brown with a collection of session players and singers straight out of Vegas ... it was very tacky indeed . For the UK folk it was best described as some light cabaret after the magic show in a working mans club type of tacky .. hate to say it but thats why I was so suprised. Well anywho, f

Which then leads onto the fact of just simply leaving it all alone and actualy come up with some new ideas Mind you it would be justified if it was called the "B Team" ...

Cyberterror .. thats a good one. Wonder how that will fit into leaping around with cars blowing up and all manner of explosions. I know ... they will make out the net is full of baddies using it to help the war on terror .. ah yes it all becomes clear LOL. After all, the net is enemy number one now aint it.

Ok I get you. I must admit I did feel teased, but in the sense that "Ooh I wonder if this will be anything more than just another Die Hard? .... Im guessing as its another Die Hard, that will be no" Im waiting in anticipation for the story line to drag out War On Terrorism links and terrorist cells in the states that he has to single handed overcome otherwise them pesky dirty bomb chaps will ruin the film. Maybe a couple of reflective moments ref 9/11 and a few banners in the wind sprinkled with all american hero ... if it is anything on those lines then its a propaganda film and should b

Hollywood "turd in a bottle" ... I saw the trailer ... its shows loads of action shots and no dialogue (voice over to tell story of this new film) ... that speaks for itself (is that a pun ). IE: No need to explain you all know whats coming .... yawn. Burn Hollywood Burn! (my view only).

This is a demo Ive been waiting for Mind you I think GRAW2 will blow this away when it arrives
-
After it's released, when will you be buying GRAW2?
calius replied to rossiski's topic in GR:AW 2 (PC) - General Discussion
As i did for GRAW. I will get the demo thats for sure. I wont be in a rush to get it due to my rig spec ... but also, well, its not gone the way I would have liked ... so nothing has grabbed me enough from GRAW (certain things that were enough to think twice about it) to then go for number 2's (fnar fnar) . PS - if you wanted one shot answers to a closed question maybe make it a poll? -
Nab the patch as its added naval invasions to the campaign No more sitting in England thinking AI wont pile on over on a ship and kick off I have found that 2 mods that realy work well with this game after patch are these two: Lands to Conquer v1.21 Combined with : DIPLOMACY MOD 1.4 (obviously patch before hand). Makes the campaign better in terms of fixing out of box issues and also pacing it down a little more to build up your financial side & gettng a decent army in the right places before things "go wobbly" with alliances / the neighbours So far I conquered t

The update is out tomorow : http://www.totalwarblog.com/
-
Yes at least thats out soon for christmas. I was PMing another member about this but I think they are killig off the battle bugs first so's not to effect campaign / saves .. then in feb with the second update they will look at the Dimplomacy & campaign quirks. So far due to this and learning the game I havent taken campaigns too far, I have realy been playing custom battles and getting used to that side of it. So I see the flaws & bugs and this update will be good. I did notice that the siege towers AI bunching / Slide Show FPS thing wasnt listed. Im wondering if through other A

Well I guess it is. Though the cost will be a snag if its looked upon like that eh. I think that wont be the case as its all a bran new theatre of Op's and new location(s) maps etc (oops sounds like I listed an expansion .. LOL )

We never got a chance to find out with GR2 to know ... . What Im mainly saying is .. [GR] gets updated and poshed up to OGR2 (GR2) this never happened. People were unhappy and then were happy about GRAW coming. GRAW arrives and is not GR2, its basicly "GRAW" a new game. People were not happy in certain areas and cries for why not update [GR] etc (still keeping it less linear & more modding / swap team mates COOP features etc etc) were in the end shouted down to get over it and "move on". Now we have a mirror image of that situation with GRAW ---> GRAW2. IE: then ([GR] ----&g

Do you think in that sense GRAW ----> GRAW2 list of whats coming justifies it ? I mean, as Crowman posted in another "tuther" thread .. an expansion or so would be good before GRAW 2. So isnt it the same thing just happening now with GRAW?
-
The idea as WK pointed isnt too great I dont think. Like most things, keep them separate for flexibility in upgrading. I expect this is good for an option with Laptops .. but I dont like the idea of having no choice.

Game creation while on speed.

I have seen the news of GRAW 2 / GRIN etc. I noticed the list for the new game are improvement on GRAW with added content/improved AI etc etc. What "struck" me was the fact that most who were [GR] fans who asked for [GR] but improved were slammed quite a bit in certain areas of forums after a while. I mean as in "get over it" its a new game etc. And yet what would have been GR2 never happened. GRAW arrives, not so much [GR] expanded but elements of [GR] (or "based on" [GR]) and then a whole different bag of bolts. Yet GRAW "2" will be what alot asked for & were kind of expecting ref

@ jchung ... that was just too easy! @Grine_Wille.. thanks for that, I realy though for some time it was the initials to a phrase or something. Fair enough, at least I now know a real reaon to never use it on the net myself

I have a silly question ... what is "WHOOT" ... when people use it on the net? I understand most slang etc net wise, but this one I never understand .. can anyone tell me?
