  1. "Space...the final frontier...where...no cheezberger has ever been before."

Technically thats not true, as all matter is of space, the universe doesn't revolve around the earth as we know, we are of matter and elements condensed within and throughout space, so in fact we are already there, cheeseburgers and all (or any form) :P:pirate: .

Earth from Sagittarius Dwarf, not Milky Way?

True or not true? Either way ... thats a realy nice picture :)

Milky Way may hold Earth-like orbs

Hubble telescope's recent finds suggest billions of planets

Today I fell off the edge of the earth, then I found a cheeseburger. - Calius 2007.

  2. True, but this isn't working in a bank or secretary work, this is the media and supposed to be "news". You know that thing to inform the public about important happenings in the world.

What this does do is show up the crap the media churn out and rightly so. It also shows that the spokes in the wheel are slaved to the wage and thats whats relied upon the most to keep the cogs turning while the wheel runs us over.

My point might be a little O.T.T but this woman is just a small example really.

  3. http://www.breitbart.tv/html/2823.html

Moore blasted the anchor and the network for not doing enough to stop the Iraq war and for doing a 'crap' report on his new film.

Micheal Moore Blasting CNN live (while on CNN) ref his new film "Sicko".

I posted here as its in some ways on topic with discussion about media coverage and treatment & people on the news standing up for once and saying how it is.

Moore is good and goes so far, I still feel he could do allot more and holds back for reasons that I am warey of with him, but hey, this was good enough for what it is.

Police may reopen 36-year-old case after nightclub boss claims rock star was killed by heroin overdose and that drug dealers launched cover-up by moving body

Personally I'm not realy sure what way this will go, or actually is, but surprising after all this time its back out in the open. Might be a ploy to shift some units on the book, mind you, Jim Morrison dieing of "Natural Causes" does in some way make me laugh.

On another note "Break on Through" was a track and a half.

  5. I re installed flash to latest etc and now Firefox will show a video on youtube from its home page but if you goto a link to a specific video it will just show as script ascii text, no matter what I do now even if I sit refreshing the page over & over.

Ive resorted to using IE just to use youtube, I sniffed the net but nothing was showing the issue I have, just crashes etc.

Realy not sure what to do to be honest. :(

  6. I liked that allot, thanks for sharing. My rig is too old to even bother downloading the Demo and trying it but I liked what I saw.

Your style of play (the right way) is pretty much how I would have done it.

The only teeny thing that I noticed was the footstep sound loop wasn't too varied, not that convincing (but thats just very minor thing). :rocky:

You could have switched to a few team headcams when they were taking fire, just to mix it up some, that feature from GRAW1 I really liked.

Looks good, I just hope its a little more overall re playable and more moddable & more coop based than the previous.

  7. I wonder when people (referring to that report) will see things that don't add up and admit so, as simple as this driving show and simply say so.

Lots of things don't add up to people who don't know how to do them. I pretty certainly don't know how to reverse engineer the trajectory of a bullet, for example, but I'm not about to go and say that forensic ballistics analysts are somehow 'cheating' because they can manage.

As you can read I was looking at it as the "CP" phrase being used, no need to do that in that report is all, a modified set of cars etc to help drivers is like him saying Rally Driving is a conspiracy LOL. You quoted me out of context because I was using "people" as like that reporter, not anyone who doesn't understand something, that would be patronising and not my angle at all :) .

  8. They are there mate doing there own thing, independently, its just that they have been demonised as "alternative" or "conspiracy theorists" or "nutjobs" or "un patriotic" or .. well make up a list of ways to smear someone and spin them into being ignored if they done tow the line and simply say things as they are than through super high frequency rose coloured glasses :rocky: . Oddly enough done by the main stream news camp.

Shamefull and shoddy is the word.

  9. Its realy good to watch though, but what ever way you "swing it" (see what I did? :shifty: ) theres some kind of external handling within that setup. Mainly because of the cars managing to reverse and a 30 or more degree angle and go straight sideways while doing so (the red one does it a few times).

I wonder when people (referring to that report) will see things that don't add up and admit so, as simple as this driving show and simply say so instead of dragging "conspiracy theory" into it ... what a plonka LOL.

  10. Oh dear, thats the mortgage and the kids funds up the poop shoot, damn that Paris Hilton.

In Germany they complained because they were showing flooding reports with the bad weather and then switched to live footage of her leaving jail and ditched the local news, as if thats far more important :wall: .

Shame reporters don't boycott most of the trash "to bury real news" they have to repeat on a loop. Mind you I guess thats the job they signed up for, to "report".

  11. First I though some use of electro magnetic steering, if you look a the slowing to stop & then the movement of starting to move off again feel to all the cars, they are far to in sync and, how can I describe it ... the torque of it looks far too mechanical (far too smooth) at those points.

Then it also to me looks like its all running in reverse, as if its programmed backwards (tracked) and then ran in a sequence forward. Not the video itself but the tracking over the car movements.

After watching again the red car at times is running backward fast literally sideways, so second thoughts are a special surface tyers, combined with wet & slippery surface and 4 wheel 360 degree inner wheels, like shopping trolly's have (if you get me) or slightly less degree turn but more than a standard motor, outside ones are probably fake or not connected/connecting fully.

Basically some kind of inner mechanism wheel(s) to make such loverly crisp turns.

Kind of reminds me of Colin Mcrea Rally physics vs Richard Burns Rally LOL.

  12. I found Requiem' hard work

Horses for courses as they say, it certainly wont be everyones cup of tea (not sure how many English cliches I can get in one sentence :P ). Darren Oronofsky has read material for this film that is very much old scriptures and texts and such that to make into a film and pull off so well is the main thing.

I have been reading a book that covers allot of background with Mayan history and all things spiritual etc. So I can see how it would be hard work without referring to that is some respects, not all though.

Its a very original film in the way its structured and visually too.

My mate watched it the other night and said "bit weird but I liked it I suppose" classic. This film will be more relevant later on that now in my view, bit before its time ... like (slighty off topic) Reeves & Mortimer humor in 1991, its now in adverts all the time even now, but was looked at a bit blank at the time.

  13. Well I finally got this on DVD (cinema release was sparse, what a surprise) .. ooooooh this is a keeper and then some :rocky: . If anyone hasn't seen it and would like to see a very unique film that will grab anyone by the short and curly's in one way or another (works on many levels), grab it on DVD.

I would also like to point out i'm not affiliated with the makers of this film, I just rate the director, I will shut up about it now.

  14. Well its seems a stupid thing for me not to try, but then .. I have not tried that, will give it a blast  .

Its not like the plugin does not work but the coding in the flash stream plugins that are out seem to have skip & re buffer issues on all of them in Firefox.

Let me put it another way, do you or others who have firefox have the ability to stop in google video / you tube etc while buffering to jump to an unbuffered area for it to start buffering from that point?

Mine always snaps to the start with no option to move forward and as I say if i get a disconnect I cant pull timer across to a point I was at to re start the buffering from that point, IE is ok.

Will try the plugin again but any firefox users who can say theres works would be good.

  15. Anyone use firefox 2 (the latest update) and when viewing YouTube it just shows the whole page as ASCII text script? I have to refresh over & over for it to read correct and display the video as it should do.

    Anyone else had this?

Also with Firefox any google video (any buffering content) seems to not continue if you drop connection half way through. In IE you can skip through to the point it stopped buffering and it will re buffer from that point onward, but not in firefox.

Anyone seen any work arounds for this? (apart from using IE).
