there is no response, which allows you to activate the god mode! Wrong, console command. but what for? It kills the player.

God? I don't know about that part. If you have them invicable, and you unload the chopper at the right time they should drop out. I have noticed that sometimes they come out sitting or kneeling. I haven't tried to do an air drop, although I've had a few bad insertions . You may want to try different ways of unloading the chopper, possibly even use the teleport platton responce to just teleport them out of the chopper onto the roof, if seeing them drop isn't a big deal. GL EDIT: If the mission isn't starting, you need to check the placement of your objects. If you have stuff overlapping the c

IMO anyone really interested in a ghillie should make it themselves. It is the only way you know you are going to get a custom ghillie. I made my first one at age 14 out of burlap bags(traditional) for deer hunting. I'm not the ghillie master or whatever, but it's not something I would pay an rediculous amount for, i.e. $800 . Like Supa said, you could get all the stuff to make a very custom ghillie for about a bill or less if you are creative. Example, I live in the desert and I noticed a friend of mine had this old couch with a crazy sand colored woven fabric. I thought this would be perfec

Sure, when your computer first boots up, it shows a screen called POST, the first step is a memory test, then it profiles your drives. During this first few seconds you should see at the bottom of the screen a line of commands. Usually the "delete" key is the default to enter the BIOS setup. If it is different, hopefully it will be at the bottom of your screen. Anyway, during that time hit the delete key and it should initialize the BIOS. In the BIOS you will be looking for a line that reads "integrated periferals". Use the arrow keys to scroll around the options and enter to choose. Once yoiu

I found this interesting bit of info for all who oppose this poster. CLICK HERE.

They, everyone involved, will blame anyone but themselves. Man, I have seen so many guns at school, and I'm a gettin up there, so we didn't even have FPS games. Or at least my poor ass didn't. Anyway, the kid is either a punk, who was causing trouble and deserves punishment. Or, he is a regular kid caught up in something, that made a stupid descision. Either way, if you've never been to jail, you shouldn't be so quick to think it's a good solution. THE MORAL OF THE STORY........ That article was one paragraph, and he has already been condemned. judge not

This is where the problem lies. As mature men, I am sure that is not what you are trying to say with that poster. *shakes head* *walks away*

Ten years in a federal prison will make him a functioning member of society.

I'm sure I'll get jumped on for this but I'll take the heat. I'm not saying he should've had the gun, I'm only saying that sometimes people do stupid stuff because they think it is the right thing to do. The fact that the teacher in the article thinks that nothing is going on at the school, doesn't make it so. Look at Columbine. What happened there? Did they know there was a problem? I am not proud that I speak from experience when I say that sometimes things get out of hand at school, and the "community" knows nothing of it. In this day and age, there is alot going on out there. Sometimes peo

I'd put money on the emu, and fractals are cool.

Nex, Speed X path X unload vehicle easy as that, you can add wait or a combination of more path and wait steps, to make the vehicle move and then stop. By using the "unload vehicle" step last, the vehicle will proceed to the end of the path, then unload. Also, you can set a zone at the end of the path to trigger a trigger plan containing the unload vehicle plan step if needed. X

Sounds insulting to me . I think the poster's cool, but then I don't try to be a politically correct <()> if you know what I mean.

A little more detail: You may want to create a seperate mod for your custom files, so you don't loose your originals. I just made one mod that is my custom mod, anything I want, I put it in the mod. Anyway, once you have a mod folder set up, (there's more info in here if you need on that)you can put your audio files in the sound folder, (if this is all you are doing that's all you need inside the mod folder, except for the modcontent.txt file) inside another folder called music. i.e. MycustomMOD/sound/music/GR_intro.wav If you are already getting the music to play, you may already be t

do u think ghost recon 2 will be 56k friendly?
X69RZX replied to cajun47's topic in GR2 PC - [Cancelled]
I didn't mean to say that 56kers intentionaly ruin the game by playing, just that it would be better if the slower connections where on seperate servers than high speed. I'm sure it would be better for the 56kers too, I've had people say my high speed connection gives me an unfair advantage. I don't know that much about the details of data transfer in these games, but it just seems like it would be better for all. -

Sry to the people living in rural communities, I used to be one myself, but I hate 56K. It ruins my gameplay. I have adsl, and when I play with others with adsl, it is a beautiful thing. It's almost like playing SP or LAN. But as soon as a 56ker logs on, pllllluuuuuuuuuuuuu, the whole thing goes to hell. Players start jumping out from behind rocks only to dissapear behind it again, i shoot someone and then they just look at me and then shoot me, lots of other foul occurances too. Alot of times I would rather just not play, which sucks. I agree that they should be pushing the envelope to get be -
@Nightmare, as you see, I was rather specific in saying "not the ghosts" who I would like to see driving the vehicles, as well, I will ad that I wouldn't mind if controlling the vehicles was impossible for the player, as I don't think it would add to the "Player's" gameplay. However, from a scripter's point of view, it would allow for more dynamic replayable missions. Thanks for the unneeded sarcasm though.

Sry Supa, I'm trying to follow you. I'm a little confused about what on means. Usually the soud card will provide you with a "boost" for a mic, this way you use the mic input at line level with this setting off "i.e.external cd, guitar, etc." or turn it on if you are using a mic. The way to eliminate feedback is to, go into the sound properties dialog, and then to playback properties, in this window mute the mic, you will not be able to hear the mic's input. Now go to the recording properties dialog, and make sure that it is not muted, now you can still record your mic's input. This should wo

IGOR is so easy. Anyway, IGOR is kinda WYSIWYG, the script is the only thing that doesn't "show". But, IGOR is simple if, then, and all you have to learn are the triggers and responces. Just give me more triggers and responces. @Ruin, I know that the driving thing would be exploited, I would just like for other actors, other than the player.

I would have to agree, they need to provide us with a map editor. Just think how many free mods we can all make for them then. I think they made some really needed improvements in IGOR, between the first one and the current version. However, I would definately like to see more revisions of that, easier interaction with the player controlled platoon, etc. I know this is controversial but, I would like the AI to be able to actually operate the vehicles. I know that this would lead to driving and stuff, but I think it would be more interesting if they could move more freely. JMO There's other s

If you are talking about running both sound cards, you probly won't have much luck. Audio cards(the drivers) usually don't get along too well. X

Anybody know of a good night vision mod?
X69RZX replied to Militiaman's topic in GR - General Mod Topics
I would tend to agree Jack. It seems as though actors are "highlighted" in some way. I've noticed however that they dont glow as much when in the more shady spots, which makes sence. Perhaps there is some way to exploit that effect? I am currently working on a No Glow NV mod if for those of us who dislike the "glow factor". If anyone wants to colaberate on it, all input is welcome. I really haven't been able to reduce the "glow factor", thus my previous comment, only to darken the overall effect. It helps a little, the main thing for me is the spotting distance. X -
That's pretty cool Delta. Thanks for the find. X

How bout a little reality with that spam-blaster?
X69RZX replied to X69RZX's topic in GR2 PC - [Cancelled]
True, but, it would take time and skill to place one shot in exactly the right place, rather than a stream of frags plumeting to the earth, forming a line to the target. X -

@RS , I agree. My point is, make it harder for a person to use the GL feature of the OICW/GL, make them have to enter coordinates before being able to fire the 20mm round. That would stop the spamming. @Zantar, I love hearing that sixth round come down, or even the thing firing off in the other direction, then pop out and @Magic , I agree, I like the way they did it in Frostbite with the FAMAS, if your gonna have that much zoom, it should be restricted as a scope, to make it even. That way the sniper has the advantage of a more accurate weapon at least. People rely on the OICW to make
