  2. @Viper... We are trained to hit the forward assist every single time you reload. You never know when the bolt may not advance all the way, so you "assist" it. So far America'a Army is the only game out there that goes through the motions of weapon handling. I was shocked to see the actual Stoppage Proccedures used. I was impressed soo much I started to play the game. As for the Bolt chatch/Release... the bolt will be to the rear of the reciever if and only, you're "out of ammo" (then you'd replace the Mag, push/hit the bolt catch/release and the bolt goes forward, then hit the assist),

  4. @MM yes the the M4 and C7/C8 are different, but only in other things, such as the barrel for instance, the C7/C8 have a heavier barrel that I know for a fact the US troops love. It can last up to 900 more rounds than what the US is using. If anything I have handled the M4, M16A1, AR-15, C7 and C8 and the reciever part I mentioned are the same. on the outside. No as for internal workings, yes they are different. But as you can see to my post, I was only talking about the external parts. I am picky about things like this so I wanted to point it out.   5. @ Ruin... great job on the colour's and such, it shows a lot of detailing and you can really make out the weapons features; however I have to express somethings. The upper and lower reciever is not right. It looks like you have the texture from the left hand side done properly, but the right hand side is just a reflection of the left hand side. Hope you don't mind, but I edited the reciever on your pic to explain my point and I used a couple of pix from my C7 as a demonstration of what the M16/M4/C7/etc... look like or should have on them.   6. I have those Webkit files, and there is nothing about the Fonts. At this rate I'll have to make my own. I know there is an RSB file in the GR/data/shell/art folder called new_font_revised.rsb And these are the Fonts. I guess I'll have to use those ones. Will keep the Community Posted. Soryu...
  7. Well I looked at that link and I did find a Font that looks similar to thr GR Font. But I can tell it's not the same. So my search continues. Any other leads on this one? Soryu...

  10. @EricJ - Thnx for the Export, when I make my weapon for my MOD I'll use that one. When I work on my first Weapon I'm hoping to use a real C7 textures. I have an MP friend on Base where I'm posted and I want to use very nice textures, and with my digital camera I could get some nice ones. I've seen BjB's C7 weapon, and although it's very nice, I think the texture could be more. Not to mention there are some things that I don't like about it. Hmmm... now that I think about it, the Coyote they made is also missing somethings, I showed my friends the screenies and they looked at it closely.

  12. Well I've changed all of my weapon sounds... I borrowed them from Raven Shield. The sound of the M16/M4 reload is what I used for the sounds of reload for the assult weapons. And the sound of the P-228 for the Pistols, etc... And not just the reloads, I changed all the sounds for the proper ones, MP5SD, M16, M82-SD, etc... Oh and the sound of Changing weapons. Gawd that sound was annoying after hearing RvS's kewler sounds. The only thing I haven't really worked on, is the Explosion sounds of the Frags. There are lots of them, like in water, in dirt, on concrete, on metal, etc... I'm

  15. So I see a lot of very different reticles, and I'd like to be able to use them. But how do I get them to work from different MOD's? Both the DRAG and SABRE Teams have nice reticles. I tried to see if they were compatible with eachother, and even with the Origimiss weapons, but they just don't work. So what is involved with making them work? Is there some coding to only let certain reticles work with certain weapons/scopes? When and where is this setup? Thnx again for your replies. Soryu...
  16. Thnx for the help, but that did not work. I've tried it in different types of games too and still, nothing. One thing I've noticed, is that not all missions work the same way. For instance, the downed F-18 map requires a Demo Charge befoe entering the game, but so did the mission with the downed Aurora. Yet both Demo Charges had different effects. The F-18 one did nothing but complete the mission part that required a Demo Charge placement. While the Auaora one also required a placement, it actually went off, and if your were too close you got killed or hurt. Both of those missio
  17. I'm getting tired of the Demo Charge not doing anything. is it possible to make a MOD for a Demo type charge to go off say 30sec after placing it? I know there are Frags out there that has a delay, but what about a Demo Charge? Are there any out there? or how would one set one up? I've been messing around with one in my MOD, but it's not working out. Any advice or tips? Soryu...
  18. WOW Ok, so after fooling around and renaming files, etc.. I can now have my Weapons (ONLY) in MP. This is great. Now For the life of me I can not figure out how to get the weapons (ONLY) in SP. When ever I fool around with the String.txt file and the no_restricions.kil file I loose my objective for MP. Any ideas?? Soryu...
  19. I prefer using Notepad to edit. So I've created a no_restriction.kil file both from iGor and one I created using WOI as my template. And still the Original weapons show up. Should my multiplayer .kit files be located in a certain folder, and once there where should the referance to those files be located? Up to now, my MP .kit files are in kits/multiplayer (all the files are there in that one folder) And I made the string.txt file and put a similar line to the ---NOT FOR USE IN WOI--- But I'm not sure I put it in the proper place.   20. Sounds like a lot there. But I still do not know what I should be really doing to add my weapons into Multiplayer. And what should I be editing. Are you sure there is no tutorial for this stuff? Soryu... BTW I love WOI very kewl mod.
  21. Okay I've made my weapon's MOD and it works great in Single Player. And I've made custom characters/skins for when we want to play with only my good friends. and that works in SP and MP. Now the problem I'm having is, when I try to add the weapons MOD for Multiplayer, the original weapons from GR/DS/IT are there, I do not want any of those weapons allowed. I only want my MOD's weapons in the MP weapon selections. And right now I can only get a partial list of my weapons and original weapons. I've even deactivated DS/IT from the MOD's and the Origmiss weapons are still there. Ho
  22. Ok so I have new sound file to use for my weapon. When I use iGor to Recincle the sounds, it does not even open my folder where those wav files are located. Not to mention if it does open on that folder, iGor crashes hard. What can I possible be doing wrong. I even followed Cobra6 DTD's instructions. But bnothing works. Please put me back on track.
