  1. We just installed the mayhem pack on our server. Haven't decided on whether we are going to mix in the default maps yet. We will continue to have ours up as long as there is still interest within the clan. Sorry to hear about your decision BSR. Had lots of fun there. We will keep your most appreciated contribution to the game running as long as we can.

  2. I am not sure I understand this VOIP thing!?

Most every clan has TeamSpeak or Ventrillo, of the top servers in game only 1 or 2 do not have a Voip.

All one has to do is ask for the password or just enter.

Most clans do that' s right, but not everyone that plays is in a clan or has vent or ts. Or given the fact you can't talk to anyone while playing unless they're in your TS or Vent. Therefore voip should be ingame just like CSS, or BF2 and many other games.

Say you're in a sever with 26 people. How you going to tell someone they're flanking right if half you team is not in vent or ts.

Stop and type... Unless it's match play no one is vent or ts unless it's you and your clan mates..

Are you really willing to stop and help someone that has no idea how to use TS or Vent. Trust me they are out there. It' s not as simple as you say all one has to do is ask for the password or just enter

Communication is a vital part of any tactical shooter; if a game has its own in-house VOIP it will certainly enhance the tactical part of the game for non clan members.

I guess from time to time you might get people on VOIP that there only goal is to disrupt, in that case, there should be a mute button to silence them.

Very true, we are not talking about us clan guys who have ts servers and vent servers, we are obviously here and know how to communicate. Its for the overall ambience of the game and for the anonymous pubbers out there. More immersion, more taeammwork = better game. BTW, if we had squads you can make squads for the people who want to work as a team and use the voip with them. Mute what you don't want to hear. It just adds more of a team feel and also grows the community. We can use every body we can get at this point.

Pay attention to this GRIN if you want to make GRAW a successful game. VOIP and squad control IS ABSOLUTELY A NECESSITY.

  3. It is sad to see the lack of interest from many people. Espcecially those who never even gave it a chance. But with the mods that have been released and the clan servers being updated with those mods the game is fun. I hated GRAW but absolutely love GRAW2 and when you play on quality servers with quality players it is challenging and a blast to play. It may die off or it may not who knows. I think GRAW left such a sour taste in many peoples mouths that GRAW2 never got looked at. I will continue playing it. My only arguement is the lack of in game squad control like [GR] and lack of in game VOIP. Those two features in BF2 is what made the game so fun.
