    i wonder how i shall do to save a briefing map to .rsb correctly?

    i tried to just save a plain 256*256 size map into rsb and it did not work.

    can anyone pls tell me or point out where a tutorial may be?

    i wonder if you can do or script something to make the bomb explode in game?

    like in Postcards from Peru, 1st mission.

    it would be cool to have like a timer set for let´s say 10-30 sec before it goes off.

    frags does work like this, 4 or 5 secs.

    have anyone a clue or is this an impossible thing to do?

    is there anyone that has an idea of how you do or which lines in

    the .gun-file that you change to get the effect of a slug instead

    of buckshot when using a shotgun?

    might be cool or useful in some situations.

    im sure that you can improve the range with your shotgun that way.

    i wonder what the problem is when a weapon shows up with

    transparent parts with blue,yellow and red dots.

    what´s wrong?

    is it some qob or rsb-files that are incorrect?

    i experience that with the para-lmg in sas21 mod.

    im having technical trouble with two mods.

    the GR crashes at start-up. (mods active DS,IT and BRM20 or SAS21)

    i get the following message from the sys:

    does anyone know where the 2nd objective, extraction zone, is?

    im going nuts on this mission.

    completed objective 1, 4 and 5 and yes, mobuto is still alive.

    i guess objective nr 3 is completed when the mission is.

    anyone got some clues.

  7. can missing textures (all white things) mess it up and make things slower?

    if so, i think i fixed mission 4 at least.

    found some names that did not match with the strings in the map.

    (using hexedit)

    cos now it seems to work better. :-)

    i downloaded hexedit from damnr6 and strted to check it out cos i had to do something about a bunch of white textures in miss. 2 and 4 in IT.

    i discovered lots of "bad" strings that made things in the map all white.

    hexedit helped me to correct these buggers and im feeling kinda proud doing it myself. :-)

    i just have one thing to correct in miss.4 (swamp-airfield). the WALLS near the fence around the airfield are still white.

    does anyone know the strings name? i hope you understand my somewhat bad english.

    im playing the IT campaign on a mac, done all the necessery improvements,

    but nothing seems to help.

    mission 4 & 5 is a real pain to play. it´s like walking in mud in a replay.

    i got a 733mhz G4, 896mb RAM and a NVIDIA 128mb card.

    is that enough or enough?

    please help.

    im a mac user and i have photoshop 7.0 and the RSB.8bi plug-in

    installed in apps/photoshop/plug-ins/Adobe Photoshop Only/file formats

    but still i can´t open any rsb´s.

    is there any certain prefs. for mac.

    can anyone shed some light on this subject for me please.

    now you´re talking :-). really i appreciate it much, but chr´s, atr´s

    and rsb´s is way out of my league at the moment.

    im no modder or skin maker.

    i think i rest my case. i also think im not the man to fix those things.

  12. i can´t seem to get the mod saving pilot ryan SPR to work.

    i have the following mods activated GR-Desert Siege-SPR, SPR is highest

    on the priority list.

    when i open the ike.log i get the following message :

  13. why does some characters turn white in GR?

    i downloaded the staff mod and converted the wav´s to aif´s

    (got a mac) and got started.

    but i saw that everyone had correct uniforms except *Jester

    who´s all white.

    how come? and what can be done to correct it?

    please help with this very tricky subject.

    im looking for a mid/skin where the soldiers look very special.

    some guys have a skeleton paint in the face and such.

    can it be a mod/skin from bajabravo, coco bolo or some other?

    i think i´ve seen it somewhere before, but i can´t remember where.

    does anyone have a clue of what mod/skin it can be?

    i´ve downloaded swe force 1.4.2 via VPC and converted the wav´s to aif.

    is that all that has to be done for it to suit the mac?

    it seems that way.

    apart from one thing though, some soldiers and the snipers have plain

    white helmets and head covers.

    how can i solve this issue? is it a diff. operation?

    please help me with tips and hints reg. this.
