  1. good to see that the boys from southafrica is awake :-)

    the latest updates on the mod is this:

    xe_joker and callmehobbes is working on with the chr´s and still

    waiting for some permissions to be granted.

    im working on kit icons and also waiting for some answers from

    diff. map makers to use their maps. check your mail fellas! :)

    viper-6 is looking at some possible missions.

    if anyone else is interested in doing one or two missions, pls give

    me a howler on da mail.

    i´ll post some more screenies when i get some of the chr´s that

    is under construction.

  2. did it have a alpha channel and did you delete it?

    When you save the rsb you shouldnt have to change anything becuase it should save with the same settings as it started with. Just open the rsb edit it then save.

    Yes. it have the alpha channel. When i open it with PS , i can see in te A.channel the kit icons...

    what kind of kit icon is it?

    is it something i can help you with.

    i´ve had the same problems like you and have recived terrific help from

    this forum.

    so now can i edit my own kit icons.

    let me know what you want.

  3. a small update on how things are going:

    chr making is coming on strong, screenies will be posted.

    weapons needed is a go-go, permissions have been asked for.

    thanx to all the great weapons modelers, you scare me with

    you skills :)

    map-permissions are under work. contacts been made.

    things are really looking good, i just hope that the mod will be

    as good as it looks.

    of course things can never be perfect, but we´re trying at least.

    I'm not sure about using the police camo as the desert skins. (This is an army mod!) I've been playing around with the tones of the camo and feel that we we better using the army camo on both, but with the desert camo toned to suit it's environment- it looks and feels far more authentic. (And works very well on the desert ghost town map).  I think the police camo should be used for a specialist and possibly AI chrs (depending on mission types).

    Oh, I've got a Recce chr that is looking not too bad at all(no screenies yet as I've no face for him!)

    Still having problems with webbing/tac. vests. I've tried to copy the real thing and it looks awful - too orange! I've seen shots of green vests so I may just use some artistic license.

  5. i'm curious as to whether or not this mod is going to have some RECCE troops.  :shifty:

    again, im very excited about this mod!

    we´re going to have reece guys in the mod.

    xe_joker and callmehobbes are working as hard as they can.

    the best thing to do is to let things take time, so that it can

    be as good as it can be.

    so be patient all you out there, we´ll keep you posted and

    showing screenies along the way :)

    we´re some guys working with a southafrican mod that we hope to

    be able to release soon.

    the mod work was in the first place started by cobaka, but he could

    not finish it so he asked me if i could give it a go.

    as i´ve never done this thing before, i took the challenge.

    i realise now how much work the other mod-guys/girls are putting in.

    heavy respect on their accounts!

    xe_joker and callmehobbes is making the chr´s with some skin-help

    from stalker.

    i have mailed and asked for permission to use weapons to many

    weapons modelers, wardenmac, dvs1 and streinger.

    we have a green light in that department.

    those guys have been really helpful in any possible way.

    dvs1 is making a light sniper rifle especially for this mod. :D a teaser.

    stalker_zero has sent me the monster: Mechem NTW-20 AMR!!!

    everything looks good to release the mod after some testing of course,

    but it would be even better if we could include a small campaign or

    something like that. :whistle:

    i know that there are some very skillful mission/campaign creators out there.

    you are more than welcome to join us and make this mod even better.

    why should the guys in this community/forum settle for anything less.

    cobaka had some ideas and i also done some thinking about a plot.

    On a side note: there seems to be a problem in that ingeloop still has not received the ntw textures.  I've just sent it to him again so hopefully he will receive them now. 

    How about a screenie of the actual vektor cr21 ingame? :)

    look at screenshot nr.3, theres a Vektor CR21 there.

    i can also announce that i have recived the textures from stalker_zero...

    i repeat - it is a touchdown!!!!!

    so you better beware all you modders and skinners :rofl::o=

    nice to know that you´ve sent the textures :)

    made some kit icons to go with "da bomber", it looks

    awesome though it´s all white for now.

    about the cr21, we will have that in the mod.

    cobaka included that in his files he sent to me and i

    have made a kinda nice reticle to go with it.
